x2. It has always seemed to move this way in the story. I think it's nice to have some of the heavier storytelling going on followed by the two girls going about their everyday lives. I feel like it's always been about Ran and Keiko's characters and how they relate and less about their possible romantic relationship. But if it does show up between the two, then I'm guessing it will be a very strong relationship due to the groundwork we are watching being laid.

You have a weird vision of newlywed, they look like an old couple. No newlywed would ever say that their partner is fat, I mean that's one way of making sure that there's no sex for X period of time. Well at least Keiko mentioned she still has troubles sleeping, foreshadowing a continuation of the story, her story and who knows, THEIR story. The yuri in this is as hard as loosing weight to achieve. For me, I believe in Ran to bring home the lilies.

I never said you were, on the other hand it's clear that the author is baiting hard.

Ran is lovable as a pet!

I personally don't mind the baiting. Probably 70% of "yuri" anime/manga do that anyway so I'm used to it. Subtext is a yuri fan's best friend! Of course actual yuri is 100% better....but you gotta take what you can get.

I'm fine with the slice of life chapters, but the quick switches from serious plot to stretch plots give me whiplash. It just throws me off because I'm looking forward to more development and then..nothing. It doesn't help that each chapter is really short. I swear, it's worse than a cliffhanger.

It's a tad frustrating how the mangaka keeps establishing how much they care for each other, only to blow things up with silly hijinks.

Still, I can imagine how Keiko would have trouble admitting she has feelings for Ran. C'mon, Ran... make it a bit easier for her!
