^ I don 't agree that what they did would class as sin by any reasonable standard. For the same reason as a baby or rabbit could not sin - even if we go by divine command theory (which sucks). It's like if god said it was a sin to harm the holy flowers, and a rock fell off a cliff and crushed them, the rock did not sin. Sin requires intent. Even if god told them not to and said it was a sin - if they don't know right from wrong, then doing what god told them to do or not do have equal moral value. God can say it's a sin if he likes but it would make him an idiot.
