This manga is not receiving as much as reception as it deserves, it is so amazing. I really hope it can be adopted into anime series.

It is the best romance story I have seen yet. Yuu is being both intellectual and cute and kind, she is what makes this series shine.

In my opinion, Yuu is the most special person in the universe.

I don't know how it could get more, I've read (cba to check it up) that it's the most popular yuri work at the moment and everybody praises it left and right.

Chapter 22, page 28.
Touko to Yuu:
“How could I be in love with someone who loves what I hate? I hate myself.”

Which is a silly line… If your girlfriend loves ice cream and you hate it, does that mean you can't love her? >.>

Anyway, I was a few chapters late and I caught up. Yuu finally saying no to Touko was a pretty strong scene. =]

In Japan (and maybe China) definitely. But in the West -overrated- Citrus is this by far. The anime just increased its popularity a lot too.
A yagakimi anime would be nice, but I'm not sure if this type of manga would do well in anime format, I feel it wouldn't fit much, especially due to the pacing and the fact it's not over yet.

Well, it’s the essence of Touko’s character that she’s incredibly smart and competent about everything except her own vision of herself. Of course it’s twisted logic—when it comes to valuing herself, that’s the only kind she’s got.

So far, that is . . .

Citrus isn't over either. I don't think the pacing would necessarily be an issue, they would just have to be very careful with keeping all the moments of character development intact. So not much deviation from original would be possible.

Oh, boy. I read the whole thing again twice in the past three days and still can't get enough. I'm so looking forward to the next chapters!

I'm very happy that Nakatani hinted in the most recent interview that YagaKimi will get a happy ending, that vol.6 isn't the last vol, and stated that she loves Girls' Last Tour.

Yagakimi volume 5 ranking on the top 10 of general manga. Yesterday it was #3. It's very successful in Japan, I'm very happy.

^ Yes! I'm very happy that it's doing well in Japan. I hope more people will come to know about this manga, because it's just so well-written, imho.

I'm so happy. Glad to see that it's doing good in Japan, but I wonder how it's doing in the Western Market? I know that Citrus is more popular, but i'm curious to see how well Yagakimi sells.

Is Yagakimi or Citrus more popular over all in Japan?

Yagakimi by far, it has ranked on Oricon (unlike Citrus) and like I posted above, the recent volume is on the top 10 of general manga in Amazon Japan. Pretty mainstream, specially for a yuri manga.

In Japan, YagaKimi. Vol 4 ranked on Oricon: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-07-06/japanese-comic-ranking-june-26-july-2/.118505, which is something Citrus has not done, and the series seems to be well received among both yuri fans (ranked first on this yuri manga poll last year: http://yurinavi.com/2017/07/29/yurimangasousenkyo-10-1/) and mainstream readers alike (ranked forth on this general manga poll last year: https://tsugimanga.jp/result/2017/comics/).

But these are all before Citrus got an anime, so maybe it will exceed YagaKimi in popularity this year, who knows.

Based on google translate, the second sentence talks about how after being bought it can be downloaded overseas? But still only available within Japan? Think something was lost in translation. Just based on kanji I thought the second sentence might say it could be bought overseas.

I think it should say .
"This product is only for Japan domestic sale.
After purchase, you can download the data overseas."
