Seems interesting. I'm a little worried this might end up a lot like Strawberry Panic! in which they treat the lesbian aspect of it so lightly it loses a lot of strength. Still looks promising for a first chapter.

This feels very traditional (can I use that word like that? Classic?).

Don't really feel like I should have much expectations from this... I predict love triangles... Anyone knows more about this manga?

Daaang, this manga is screaming Strawberry Panic everywhere. I wish they'd at least use a different word instead of Etoile. I just hope it doesn't suffer the same fate as SP did which is what kingsmexy said, and that there were too many unhappy "leftovers".

Hm, setting is a bit detatched from reality, but it looks to be heading towards some entertaining melodrama

Just as some before me have stated, it bares similarities to Strawberry Panic. But I'm hoping that the ending is one that could agree with (Since I didn't like the "main" pairing of Strawberry Panic).

ugh it bears similarities to like 80% of yuri out there lol, just diff names used. well, yuris that aren't disguised porn. long haired better skilled older girl with a first year girl enamored of her. hmm how many mangas does THAT describe?? /rolls eyes. i am reading this only cause it's tagged yuri lol. as soon as i saw etoile used i was like ...seriously?? i wanna drop...but it's yuri...and a series.... would be AWeSOME though if it changes completely lol and the etoile is like LITERALLY sucking the talent from the other girls. then i could see this getting way more interesting XD 50$ says the MC goes for the short haired girl in the end. i will be sorely disappointed is there isn't SOME kind of twist or SOMETHING though.

ps am i only one who thought of blood+ when they used chevalier? man i miss that show. best. ever.

edit: and this is just a stab in the dark but i'd say the short haired girl also had a grandmother attend this school as a composer, thus the same ring, who of course wrote the song that the MC sang for the test, because OF COURSE her grandmother has a copy and she grew up listening to it. or something.

Well, though it doesn't seems very original, I'm willing to see where this is going. The usage of Etoile does gives a strawberry panic vibe, but beyong that, it doesn't seems too similar. As other said, the setting is pretty typical of school life manga with an all-girl school setting. In any case, just one chapter seems too soon to get a feel of that manga.

This manga screams strawberry panic. Cliches everywhere.

..new yuri huh...my story I been writing seems like the same to this but the my protagonist is not like that soft-girl and it seems I know what will happen to the story...will, I'm hoping it will not end what I'm expecting...it's long but it didn't caught my taste...

Seems like Strawberry Panic! where Nagisa would end up with Tamao instead of Shizuma.

This felt like a cliche of cliche of a cliche from the very beggining. Then a little of WTF near the end that made me look at the tags to see if supernatural was listed, but it wasn't, so back to cliches...

why the heck do strangers feeling this story is riding along the line of strawberry panic anyone?x2

I love it how the school is based on the Tsukiji Hongan-ji in Tokyo. It's a beautiful building, all right.

I don't mind a "classical" yuri series at all. You have to realize that Strawberry Panic and Marimite weren't all that original either. It all hinges on how well the characters are written, really.

So much Strawberry Panic. Feels super generic though. Still...I'll read it. Haven't had super potentially drama filled reads in a while.

I like where this is going after reading the other posts I feel like too many ppl got butt hurt over strawberry panic, I hated the ending too but I can't group every manga with it just because of a few similarities.

Kinda interesting read though... For now... Unfortunately it's reminding me a little of, not Strawberry Panic, but Nobara no Mori no Otometachi, which i labeled as one of the worst yuri i've ever read

It's just.. so predictable all that's going to happen. I'm a yuri fan, but I don't like this kind of plot, the new transfer student admires a senpai, then she happens to fall and is caught by her, then happens to just be singing when senpai passes next to the classroom. It's screaming SP! everywhere, and the singing thing just doesn't work in manga.
I was even somehow kind of sick of the characters design while reading, but that's just me. The possibility of senpai actually being a bad person could give this a fresh air.

At least I hope this doesn't end with the pairings all being screw.up.
