I wonder if mochi has a sister? And if she does, I wonder if she finds it weird that her sister is drawing manga of a sister in an incestuous relationship with her sister who draws manga of two sisters in an incestuous relationship?

That's two Mochi comics Stan Miller has translated that don't feature Muppo.
I am concerned.

"What should I do?"
Marry her and have an even number of girl-children, of course?

Thats it, I'm coming to this conclusion, Mochi Au Lait is the greatest Yuri incest author ever. Out of all the people who write incest Yuri, Mochi tops them all.

Definitely the most interesting Yuri-verse, at the very least.

I like Mochi au Lait, but it feels like someone who specializes only in easily shareable candy is being hailed as the greatest chef.

On the other hand, if someone's thing is making candy, and they're great at it, why shouldn't they be praised above others? Should an author be evaluated on the basis of what they're not, in addition to what they are? Serious question, you might have a valid point here.

I'd agree that if Mochi was the only type of yuri anyone did I'd quickly get bored.

But in terms of "candy" this is excellent candy. And if it has to be candy, I'd rather have excellent candy than mediocre candy, and Mochi delivers.

Now, I'd be just as grateful, or perhaps even more, if someone else also made a full course meal with nuanced depths of flavors that slowly reveal themselves over 70 20-page chapters.
But I don't really see anything like that around.

So I'm back with the candies.

Is it better to make stuff that most people can enjoy a little, or stuff that only a few people can enjoy a lot? Utilitarianism suggests the best way is to maximize the utility (or enjoyment derived), but people aren't good at quantifying utility. The human mind usually only makes a distinction between like and don't like when it's not paying attention, which is probably why popular stuff usually sells more than the really good stuff.
