Does anyone know why it's named PAX-1?

The characters were intriguing, but the ending was kind of rushed and too open for me.

I hate the internet that has conditioned me dissfirst and comment later, sorry random ramble.

more importantly I really liked the subtle narrative and the interaction between the two.

Love the atmosphere, but don't really know what just happened. Hope there'll be a continuation.

Not 100% sure, but there seems to be the suggestion of abuse by a third party in both their cases.

The crossed out "man-hater" is interesting, is it saying she hates that man rather than all men, or that she doesn't so much hate men as like girls?

The author's notes for the 2 volumes didn't mention anything on PAX, so maybe it's just referring to the Roman Goddess of Peace. For example, how the MC finds peace with something.
The guy's panels are also strange, since all the text are from Kei.

Senpai is probably abused at home by her father/brother. I was surprised when student council girl kissed senpai. Too quick and sudden.

Hmm.. hope there's more. The end left me confused.

This, to me, suggests living with smokers. I don't smoke myself but I live around heavy smokers and everything I own reeks of smoke because of it.

That dialogue just didn't feel like something any human being would say.

I like the idea well enough, but it was trying too hard by half.

Well... its name is PAX -1- for a reason, part 2 is a bit longer. The Japanese is very vague and we were already discussing a few things. I personally think Sachi lives with a smoker and is probably abused by them (that's why she likes the rooftop because she can stay away from that person during these times). I didn't quite get the last page but since there's a sequel, I'm waiting for that one first to draw any conclusions. I tried to find any useful comments by the author by looking at their tumblr/pixiv:
新刊「PAX -1-」は上巻となります。下巻(成人向け)は夏コミ発行予定。
「依存」「拒否」が交わる、女の子2人のお話。よろしくお願い致します。
It connects "dependence" and "rejection".
But maybe Arashura knows more.

Thanks for the enlinghtenment. It would have been too esoteric for me without a sequel.

I think this story had potential. Sadly the author/artist decided to skip most part of the story. So instead of "interesting" I'd give it a "meh (minus)"...
