Funnily enough, I remember watching a documentary about witch myths where they legitimately suggested this very same thing as a possible explanation for where the flying on broomsticks idea came from.

Looks like they used the same hallucinogenic potion to buy time.

That was delightful. Just the right amount of sexy old school occult and romance.

The "witch" didn't seem particularly on board by the end.

And I'm the only one who felt this story was a little too by the book?

Young normal girl lives under oppressive parents, is seduced by mysterious transfer hunk of her life, love cannot be (it's a phase, both girls etc.), run off into the night together.

It's a odd mixture of fairy tale and yuri cliches. Kind of reminds of Simpsons episode "Lisa the Drama Queen" which parodies these fairy tale cliches by having a rich girl that is not understood by her parents and tries to run away with Lisa somewhere.

Come to think of it, yeah, it is pretty reminiscent of that episode.
Agreed, I found it hard to get into the actual yuri because there was nothing much to the characters or story.
Shame better one-shots can't be this long

Since that potion is made from henbane and belladonna, it's likely a whole bottle will kill them.
Assuming they finish the whole pot.

Another wonderfully classic work by Senno Knife. Perhaps a little sillier than usual with the broom bit, but excellent as a whole. Thank you very much, Yuri Project.

Read this. It's incredibly enlightening. Also says that Sennou Knife did his or her research on witches.

Thats really neat! And it adds a little extra flavor to their escape when you know that taking the extract orally, instead of by properly fucking a broom, comes with some bad side effects. This is ridiculously good witch yuri.

That was wild. Would've been funny if they flew off with their brooms in the end.

It was like a smutty lesbian story from the 50s or something. The kind you'd find in raunchy magazines, bordering on porn.

Can't say it's uninteresting, but the characters lack depth. The witch lacks passion. She bewitches the MC but doesn't seem that involved, only bored out of her skull and a bit of a chuunibyou.

The MC seem to find solace in the witch, not really out of love, but because it gives her some mean of escaping a dysfunctional family.

And they are both on drugs, seeking an exit from a dead-end situation.

As for the finale, while it may seem hopeful and that they are eloping, I can't shake the feeling that "The world of Witches" they say they are going to, is a keyword for a double-suicide.

All in all, it's quite gloomy.

Also needs Het on Page 16 .. Ewww...

Just imagine the amount of wood splinters that went into their private areas. It hurts.

I maintain that applying hallucinogens to your genitals, irrespective of the method, is a silly idea. :P

Weirdos like the witch girl are the reason homosexuality used to be so demonized.
