That was my initial impression as well. If an artist hasn't revealed their sex, something androgynous makes sense, but that also might have just been how she turned out.

Sort of, but I mostly meant that it added to the surprise and comedic payoff from the story rapidly jumping the rails from possible autobiographical non-fictional to absurd, borderline yandere yuri sister drama. Still deserves a yuri tag though.

More than Friends is character-driven, but that's a good thing.

Her name is unambiguously female. And oddly enough there's girls out there that are androgynous enough to make you wonder which they are at first glance.
