TokixRyukka is among my favorite pairing, nice to see they have their own spin-off. Also, I'm not worried about the outcome of the match. I mean, if Toki and Ryukka can't be friends any longer, it just mean they have to become girlfriends. :3

I'm totally clueless about Mahjong, so I can only nod knowingly and hope none notices.

Yeah, you enjoy it much more when you actually know about mahjong. Saki gradually introduce the rules over the first matches before the preliminaries and some more specialized ones during the competition, but it's still a lot to remember especially when the series took the supernatural aspect to ever more heights, to the point that Nodoka not believing in the occult side of mahjong feels kind of ridiculous at this point when it could still be considered somewhat sensible at the beginning.
