Just remember episode 10 where we got a deep look into Homura we find out these close friends have been separating themselves entirely from everyone in order to fall curse to the contract dooming them to fall into a deep despair and become witches eventually themselves. And that this has happened since the beginning of time. And Homura saw her loved one die in front of her eyes, having to kill her herself 100+ times.

Yuuki Yuuna was certainly dark but there was no tragedy other than Tougo's poor past. Madoka was hardly anything but tragedy except for the end of the anime series and a glimpse of it in the end of Rebellion. But I see where you are coming from.

Also Tougo and Yuuna are practically head over heals for each other, but I think Karin doesn't really have a someone special yet. She fights hard because of Yuuna, but not really sure it's anything romantic. Creators seem to be edging toward FuuRin for sure though.

I loved this show up until it started pushing for Subaru x Minate. And not because of any angsty teen "notgaysobad" but just because it opened up so many plotholes involving particularly this relationship.

Subaru still cute though. Plus, Po-warm.

'S kinda paraplegic yuri anyway. They're super clingy and doting while Tougo's in the wheelchair. Yuuna acts like the nursing wife. Then spoilers happen (ironic using a spoiler filler inside a spoiler bar heh) and Yuuna ends up in a wheelchair herself. Complete role reversal. It's where a basis of the relationship stems from

Though its kind of a weird pose to press together like that - its ok for the one holding the flowers - (Nico?) but the other would have their hands up on the others waist or arms I think to look natural.

Just in-case the translator sees this the last bubble is wrong - it should be 'everyone is such an idiot! or 'you are all such idiots!'

You can't use 'are' with 'everyone' because it's a singular pronoun - even though it refers to multiple people, it lumps them into one entity as it were.

Well, like I said, it's because I knew everything about Madoka beforehand so it didn't seem so bad.

Tougou is certainly head over heels for Yuuna, people could make some points about Yuuna not being in love with Tougou and just being a really good friend. But yeah, I think Yuuna is also in love with Tougou, it's just her mindset isn't anywhere near love or like. As for Karin, her first story in the first VN more or less confirms she has a crush on Yuuna Yuuna sleeps over at Karin's for a study session and seems like there is a few more moments in the second one, though Sonoko ships Fuu x Karin.

^ I recall there being a scene in the second VN that is very Fuu x Karin, also Sonoko shipping them a lot.

@Thiaguinho-sama I don't remember Tougou explicitly saying she loves Yuuna. It is heavily implied though. And her actions in the first VN are that of a person in love.

I saw her as someone who value being the best in everything and aim to win no matter what. The type that discreetly looks for flaws in the rules and wisely use it. Also, her haughty attitude kinda reminds me of pure-blood Slytherin stereotype.
