Arslan Senki: still running from Spring, still pretty good. Some lewd hand-holding in the latest episode.They ran through the manga recently, they're going into the novels with Arakawa's designs now. Little too soon to say if that's for the worse.

Chaos Dragon: Nasu, Urobuchi, Narita, and two other losers played a tabletop game. It got made into an anime for some goddamn reason. This will probably be really mediocre but it's weird enough for a try imo.

Non Non Biyori Repeat: Hotaru likes Koma-chan romantically. Nothing is going to come of this. Still, probably the best slice-of-life anime

Let it be known that it's like Senas crush on Kobato in Haganai which stemmed from lolicon tendencies minus the fact that Non Non Biyori has no male romances that will get in the way

But Hotaru is 5th grader!

Durarara is one of those yuri in non-yuri anime I did not recommend because 1 of the girls has a crush on a guy.

I think it's a dream project kind of thing. A producer finds themself with more money than they need, so they start a project to adapt something they like but know won't be profitable

Anime been dead for awhile, I only watched Arslan Senki ( and dropped it because Arakawa design are just ugh ) this past winter and spring. I will only watch Gangsta. in the summer lineup.

Not for me, slice of life is basically the only anime I watch, ranging from the CGDCT to something more in-depth like Barakamon...

I am pretty sure that the cancer is the mindless cock-fawning harems, overly animated tits fanservice, and utter trash-writing that are not only exclusive to these but also pretentious-deep-emotional dramas which are a plague in this area of the entertainment world.

75% of anime are clones of eachother for this very reason.

Worth noting, ecchi and moe alike tend to sell poorly. They continue to exist as advertisements for the original works
