Just read chapter 133. That bit with Tamaki makes me want to reread the Tamaki arc. It was a really rough arc though I haven’t analyzed Tamaki’s POV enough.

It's a good thing this is still primarily a comedy; it made some parts easier for me. Like chapter 44 when Saeko's thoughts get surprisingly dark.
And while I'm a bit indifferent on the main characters, I really liked Shiho (I'm with Miwa regarding the hair though) and Kan, even if he's an ass most of the time.

Jst finished the last chapter... I don't know what to say, I've never read a romance manga like this before. I love Saeko so much. When Saeko broke up with Miwa, I seriously never felt so devastated with a manga before... It almost felt like she broke up with me personally!!! Anyways. I also seriously can't get over Miwa breaking up with Tamaki... it makes me want to cry just thinking about it. Poor Tamaki did everything for her, and she just... Argh! I can't get over it!! I'll... I'll never forgive Miwa for making her cry like that...
Anyways... In another thread, I said that Moon Over A Rainy Night was my favorite manga, but... This one has affected me in a way no other manga has had before... So, it has found a new place inside my heart...

Edit: by the way, I read this whole manga while listening to the album My Back Is Killing Me Baby and the song Nervous Young Inhumans by Car Seat Headrest and I think they kinda fit the vibe of the manga! Well, for me, at least. They got that "bitter summer" kinda vibe!

Edit 2: Wait! The series is already finished, but it says that it's still "ongoing" in here. This is a mistake, right?

god, i missed them. i loved this extra and how it shows that things weren’t a fairy tale after they got back together. even after 4 years together(mostly as friends tho), they still have fights and disagreements, but they handle them so much better than before and actually try to grow for each other. especially saeko, i really love this more mature side of her.

I'm assuming this person didn't read that far into the series and didn't realize this was a post-series extra? But yeah, agreed.

Ah that would make sense and maybe I should put a spoiler warning for my comment, I'm not sure since Dynasty doesn't have the full series and we're now discussing a post-series extra lol

I definitely recommend the full series to people, however it is recommended to be in a solid headspace to handle the heavier parts of it. It's one of my favorite manga, though the relationships are messy and the characters are humanly flawed, so there's some divisive opinions and it's not for everyone. Anyhow it's been a minute but last I checked the full manga is on Viz, and I forget if their monthly sub has a free trial but I remember their sub being less than 5 USD a month, it was very worth it to read through this series and others.

Definitely worth rereading the whole series in anticipation for the live action, even though some parts are so real and raw...and sad!

Love to see these two happy.

(talking about Bonus comic 2) Man... whenever the topic of gay marriage is brought up yuri manga I cant help but feel crazy sad... but atleast their friend group is pretty supportive! ^_^

wahhhh, all the sensei authors saying they're sad gay marriage isn't legal so their characters can't get married at the end TT

the fact that same-sex marriage is still not legal in japan pmo, they're just clinging to conservative values that do no one any good. their birth rate is already low, homosexual couples aren't going to make it any lower (and in fact, allowing them to have kids might even help)

Yup, this chapter reminded me of feeling heart broken when I got to the last volume of the manga in print and it included a final author note at the end, saying that the main couple would have gotten married if gay marriage was legalized in Japan while the manga was ongoing...but unfortunately that didn't happen. Now I'm sad all over again v_v
