If this were the consequence of using AI to cheat on an assignment, no one would use it for sure.

This recently happened in Germany and the university was actually even stricter. The student handed in AI-generated exam work and it was so egregious that the university considered it fraud and banned the student from re-taking the exam, which meant that the student couldn’t graduate and had to drop out. The student sued but the court upheld the university’s ruling. The work apparently contained typical AI-marvels such as citing sources that don’t exist.

There will always be people who think they can get away with it, no matter the potential consequences.

While one scummy protag never learns and fall further after massive luck, another like Toudou from "Sorry but I'm not into Yuri" shows remarkable growth while still being a bit scummy. Mashiro's about as disappointed in her as the momster, but her equally blaming herself is not a good sign, considering her previous brushes with self-harm.

She might not be; full adulthood is 20 in Japan. Also, Mom is paying for it.

I know it meant to be comedy and the MC is called "scummy" but at some point its not funny any more with how many times Makino ruins things and every thing goes back to square one. Like I really do hope she grows some way or it just sad to watch.

i mean i did use ai too, but only because there were boring parts of formality so i let ai write those for me, and also to help me with my sentences to hit the target page number, ai is not that bad, as long as you use it as a tool, not a whole employee. dont be a scum

Ai is bad and you're admitting to taking a short cut using a machine that harvested data without consent or permission, as the companies are run by the greediest and shittiest people. Also you're admitting to failing to do your assignments properly and basically cheating your way through tasks by using tech that's bad for your brain. Plus the whole environmental issues and everything else. It's bad as a tool and it never stops there for these companies that want to replace their workforce. Fuck AI, don't use it.

Ui and Nagisa are almost there, though I understand both perspectives. I'm assuming Nagisa doesn't actually mean that Ui is just like everyone else, just that she's naturally outgoing and always has people hanging off her. At the same time, I get Ui feeling uncomfortable with some of that, at least for now; she still worries that Nagisa isn't really taking a relationship between girls seriously and some of Nagisa's answers don't help that.

As for Mashiro, she's also close to figuring things out. I'm sure she'll find some work that doesn't make her pull her hair out. She always figures something out, one way or the other. It'll likely be funny.
