For some reason the progression of this manga reminds me of "how do we relationship"

Thats what I thought to.

This is a slow moving trainwreck with Ren as the conductor. I love reading her introspections but at the same time she's not being honest with herself, so it really makes you anticipate that moment where things comes to a head.

I enjoy the writing/pacing for this, it's always a treat to see updates.

Pharmacist lady Chitose doxxed her and found her rental girlfriend profile..
Mizuki-chan is super high maintenance, jealous and already riffled through her phone and probably found out about her side job...

Ren is stalked and in a toxic relationship now. Good intro to the lesbian world!

more like she surrounds herself with pain-in-the-ass women... keeping Mizuki as a gf, keeping her relationship with Sui... only the recently-named-Chitose can she kind of not be blamed for, since she keeps running into her by chance.

I doubt this was a chance encounter. I'm sure customers are able to see the faces of the rentals before requesting dates. I recall Sui mentioning she picked Ren because she looked similar to her crush at some point.

Aw man, Ren regressing into her "girlfriend for rent" persona whenever she's with Mitsuki really hurts. Her job has taught her how to get what she wants by saying the right words. "I don't want you messing around in my kitchen" turns into "I don't want you to get hurt" or "I want to keep an eye on you." I just wish Ren could just relax into herself when she's dating someone.

I'm sure the job is part of it, but I got the impression from the flashbacks to her past that she's been navigating people this way her whole life. If you grow up with people who despise you, you learn to be whoever you need to be to keep them placated. She's probably never felt safe being 100% herself before, and it's also probably why she's unusually tolerant of Mizuki's controlling behavior.

weirdly this chapter i have a positive impression of mizuki. she's clingy and insecure but looks out for ren in her own weird way... even if she grumbled about ren not answering her 1 billion messages due to work she reasons ren is tired and tries to cook for her, and may have later on noticed ren wanted the macaron she was eating.

don't think these two will end up being a good fit for each other but mizuki would probably do fine with a girl who likes her clinginess

Mizuki was honestly not bad at all in #9.
But lord, I love SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET so much.
Ya know, good drama really hits different.

Mizuki saw Ren's phone as well when a request for a rental came through. Two cliffhangers!

When I read the chapter, all I could think about is how Mizuki is borderline psycho, controlling and manipulative. I'm honestly amused (and baffled lol) that someone else can have such a different opinion of the character. It feels like we haven't read the same chapter.

The way I see it, she asked to cook for her as a way to know where she lives. I'm pretty much sure she will end up being a stalker. I can see her showing up during one of Ren's professional date, and play it as if it's just a coincidence. I mean, it's already implied that she looked at Ren's phone...

And damn, that chapter's end ... I don't know what to think of the piercing girl now. It was my favorite character so far, but Ren was clear about the fact that she didn't want to date her. She should respect her boundaries and choice. Forcing Ren to meet her because it's her job is really unfair and unethical imo...

Her relationship with Misaki isn't bad, but she still should cheat her with Pharmacist lady

I have a similar reading of her so far, yeah...

It would be kinda funny if the one Sui-chan likes turns out to be Misaki
