The joke here, for those unfamiliar, is that if you get a skeleton to finish off a creeper (usually by keeping the latter between you and the former, who is unconcerned with friendly fire), it will drop a music disc.

I am unsure if this image is positing the above as an alternate means of achieving the same, or maybe that the off-screen makeouts are responsible for the disc existing in the first place, somehow.

The context of this image is that the two of them are choosing the best spots to place hidden cameras in.

I think it's also the gap / contrast of getting to see numerous sides of your partner. Here you have Korra's properly dressed and brushed hair she usually has when she's going about her day, and in contrast there's her messy just waking up look with bedhead. Both are attractive for their own reasons but Asami gets to see a side and contrast nobody else gets to see which adds to the hotness I think.
