Looks like she has a plan to show her love, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next!

I have to say I completely not understand the entire chapter. I do not understand Ten's thinking or action. I literally have no clue of all the conversations involving her to herself or others. I am at a lost. I do not know what did she mean when she thought she screwed up. I do not know why she thought Lulu would hate her. I certainly have no idea about the entire conversation between she and her classmate. I have it twice and I still do not get it. Maybe someone here will make a comment and help me figure it out. Otherwise I guess I have to wait until the next chapter to have a better idea.

Lulu told Ten that a boy confessed to Lulu after falling for her at first sight, without thinking about it Ten told Lulu that she doesn't understand falling in love at first sight and as Ten was about to say something harsher about that Ten caught herself, because Ten remembered Lulu fell in love with her at first sight. Which reflects on the previous chapter of Lulu rejecting the boy but saying "I know that feeling very well". Ten believes that must have insulted Lulu's love for Ten and felt bad about it. Ten and her friend were discussing feelings of love, what it means to be hurt by love, to have feelings of love, and how Ten is trying to figure out what her feelings for Lulu are and how Ten doesn't want to hurt Lulu.

The whole premise of the story is that Lulu fell in love at first sight with Ten. When she criticized the guy that confessed to Lulu for basically falling in love with a complete stranger, she indirectly invalidated Lulu's feelings too. We know Lulu feels insecure about it, and Sakuya is making her think she's been forcing herself on Ten, so that remark made things worse.

TL;DR: Lulu fell in love at first sight with Ten. Ten doesn't believe in love at first sight and accidentally invalidated her feelings. Sakuya is taking advantage of the situation, because if she can't have Ten, she won't allow anyone else to have her.

Has Ten's psychological problems and torment, even before Lulu's arrival, has anything to do with Sakuya? Is so which chapter provides the clues? Or it was never mentions? Or it comes from a different incident? The previous chapter she was accused by old acquaintances for trying to play prince again. There was no further explanations.

They've expanded on it a bit. I don't recall the exact chapters but as I remember it her and Sakuya used to be very close, with a kind of romantic subtext to their relationship. I believe Ten ended up falling for Sakuya but Sakuya then spread a rumour around that Ten was stalking her and being creepy which ruined Ten's reputation at their school and shattered her self esteem and trust.

Now it's been a bit since I read those chapter so I might be misremembering things but that was the gist of it as I recall.

Thinking about it more I started to remember Sakuya being the one that fell in love with Ten, so I went re-read and yeah in chapter 9 Ten tells Lulu about how Ten rejected Sakuya’s feelings. Sakuya viewed herself as the princess and Ten the prince. We know also that after the rejection Sakuya’s feelings turned to hate and lead to her painting Ten as a stalker that was obsessed with her, where Sakuya destroyed Ten’s social life and made everyone disgusted and afraid of Ten. Which is to say Sakuya has been set up and established as the source of Ten’s trauma throughout the series.

Yeah, was about to mention that myself. Although I haven't re-read the manga (yet), I could've sworn I recall Sakuya being the one who was one-sidedly in love with Ten like you mentioned, and not the other way around like the person you replied to seems to have recall. And then, upon being rejected, getting her revenge by ruining her social life with lies that she knew everyone would believe because it was she who said them. And now she's back to causing trouble to Ten and Lulu again. Hence my last comment saying that I want to punch Sakuya. Which, just for the record, I still do want to.

That's pretty much the usual level of inane I remember from all the drama of my middle school tbh
