The 'Watch out for Ninja Enemy #1 Kuro (Leader)" was so very funny that fancomic alone made the whole manga worth reading. Same with the robo-Konoha that was hilarious. Excited to see where this goes eheh~ (Chapters 14 and 45 btw)

According to the 2026-08 Kirara Max raws, Call Me Frankenstein has indeed been picked up for serialization after just two guest chapters. (Serialization will begin in earnest from the 2026-10 issue).

Yes, Megumi is indeed the Marin of this series. Got the July issue where she is resurrected, watches as her headless body gets dropkicked out of a tall building, and gets chloroformed to put her body to sleep. Classic Burger antics.

The first page got me hoping that Aoi would show up in the clinic but I guess that was just to foreshadow the reveal that Konoha donates her money which is apparently the thing she told Roboko all those chapters ago. And awww both Konoha and Satoko getting power-ups at the same time. The look they gave each other through the phone is cute (eventho it was just a voice call).

Yoshida is back!!!!! Judging by the last panel, she's probably not leaving the story just yet, very ominous. I wonder if the organization tried to give support to Yoshida since she's also lost family. I imagine if she was approached she would probably use that to link Aoi's disappearance to her father's

It would be very ironic and dramatic if Konoha's act of good will leads to Yoshida finding out and confronting her.

On the other hand though that panel where Satoko wants a more equal relationship with Konoha is very yuriful. If the main cast isn't nuked in a massacre finale then I think we definitely get to see their wedding as an epilogue.

If it were still early in the story, I would wonder if they'd just kill Yoshida as part of the dark humor.

I am a little excited to see how this will all play out with Yoshida. The chapter with Aoi hit me quite hard with the ambiguous tragedy that I am curious to find out how it transpire when she does confront her over her disappearance/death.

There is also the case with Yoshida's mother since it's brought up at the beginning of the chapter. From my suspicion with how it seems so far, either Yoshida's mother will essentially save her daughter from the death flag and the events that transpire will also somehow allow Yoshida to sort of let Konoha go or vice-versa if there is a hit ordered on Yoshida for Konoha.

((The save here just means that either Yoshida reunite with her mother and bows out or that her mother turns out to be the antagonist of the arc revealing to have been the one who ordered the hit on her father, dies to Konoha, and Yoshida just decides to go away from it all))

Or she does end up dying to Konoha likely marking a tone shift for either the rest of the series or just the next two chapters.

I really like how burger adds new contexts to the little things. We think of satoko as helpless in fights but in reality she's quite proficient, now we know she just doesn't try to fightback after years of bullying.its consistent with her being able to dodge every surprise attack in the early chapters in the manga

This is not how I expected Yoshida to enter the plot. Good point earlier about Yoshida's mom potentially being the antagonist here. I am more interested if the Aoi payoff happens soon and she's the one who will talk down Yoshida. Very interesting.

I hope Yoshida will be more important to the plot but like leader can just erase her memories so idk
