Yoshida is back!!!!! Judging by the last panel, she's probably not leaving the story just yet, very ominous. I wonder if the organization tried to give support to Yoshida since she's also lost family. I imagine if she was approached she would probably use that to link Aoi's disappearance to her father's

It would be very ironic and dramatic if Konoha's act of good will leads to Yoshida finding out and confronting her.

Whatever Burger is cooking for the finale, Im sure it'll be amazing! Every chapter gets crazier and crazier

Really happy to see it translated. Glad CMF is getting serialized, I’m happy Burger-Sensei gets to do more crazy shit! Hope it makes it further than 3 volumes!

Yes, Megumi is indeed the Marin of this series. Got the July issue where she is resurrected, watches as her headless body gets dropkicked out of a tall building, and gets chloroformed to put her body to sleep. Classic Burger antics.

I hope that comment about no matter how much Marin's family grows she'll end up being alone again doesn't mean Marin will be alone at the end of the series...

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the Kusagakure clan not really being a threat anymore, but it makes sense. We already know that some ninjas like Fumiko were already assassins from the first chapter, so even if they were still a threat it would barely make a difference since they're going up against the organization's best, who are already ninjas. I like how the Organization splintered off the clan, It makes them more threatening now that we know it was basically ninjas that formed and hold extraordinary power in the organization. It makes it seem more fated that Satoko and Konoha met.

Very interesting that Burger is leaning towards this fate thing. Satoko and Konoha were given an out with Momiji, but it seems that they can't escape the path of being dangerous weapons, even if they believe they chose it for themselves. Though I do have hope, Satoko was able to break free from being just a tool for Konoha and could live a normal life without the conditioning of the clan to weaken her mental fortitude. She found love in spite of being raised without it to control her powers, and in spite of ending up in the hands of an assassin who originally just wanted to use her.

How burger can make you laugh about the irony of having a suicide prevention hotline in an assassin website then immediately following up with revealing marin has attempted before, preferring death over needlessly killing others but being denied that not because of actual concern but rather keeping her alive to do their bidding... its quite amazing.

At least marin has them now and a cool hat!

New Ninkoro!
Didn't expect Marin to start as a little girl with huge hammer to doc ock huh

Also it took 51 chapters for konoha to use a gun lmao

What a lovely chapter. I'm glad to see the school setting again and seeing how much Satoko was able to overcome the limitations put on her from birth by others. It's awesome to see the abilities see used as her repressed self (Sadako) resurface now that she is surrounded by people that support her. It might seem pointless for the chapter to reiterate Satoko and Konoha's resolve, but I believe that it was important to see all the little developments (such as Satoko's origins, Momiji's influence, and Satoko going to school which I found quite underutilized in the past) culminate into that resolve in this chapter. That has been always Ninkoro's strength and I find my faith in burg even stronger.

Respect to Burger-sensei for knowing exactly what ending they want the story to have. I trust they'll stick the landing

The two crows at the end... Absolute Cinema

The dialogue Satoko and Konoha have at the end is the thesis of the whole manga. We watched Satoko and Konoha grow from using each other just to survive and do work, to being genuinely in love with each other to the point they will carry each other's burden and be willing to go to hell together. In that togetherness, both of them found happiness and purpose, an escape from a brutal, mundane life. Satoko found genuine connection and comfort that was absent in the village and Konoha learned to love and see life more than work.

The inclusion of the Marin clones ties into this thematically as well. They want to live what little life they have with purpose and assume it would come in the form of being tools for Konoha's goal. Konoha would definitely use them if it were chapter one, but she's clearly conflicted. Even if there are many and their lives are short, they are not expendable. She would only accept it if it means that Satoko would work with Momoji to live a normal life helping others. She does not believe that she can live a normal life, choosing to go without satoko to her death wish. Konoha is still under the impression that it would bring her meaning, but she is likely being used as a tool by the organization. The Marin clones are similar in that they want to be used as tools for her mission, not knowing what Konoha desires deep down.

Satoko rejects the idea to work for Momoji alone because she understands what she and Konoha want. She wants to be with Konoha so much that a robot based on her will betray her creator and blow up the earth for her. She knows Konoha just wants to be loved, and Satoko will do anything to give her that love, even if Konoha does not believe she deserves it.

The world of Ninkoro is pretty cruel, just look at Yoshida, but despite how prevalent death is prevalent in this world, with ninjas slaughtered left and right and money being traded in for lives, Ninkoro is all about celebrating life, purpose, and togetherness.

Honestly a bit glad to see Kuro and Yuri aren't broken up after the hot springs although kuro better explain her shit.

Yukari coming back was also a surprise. Its said in the volume extras how much she has changed after the memory wipe, and it shows. A reliable senpai for Kidzuna who's just really enthusiastic with answering the phone.

Momiji is growing on me more and more. She's just so full of energy with a somewhat dark side to her. I suspect there might be more conflict with Michiru without her memory being erased and her visible sadness over Kazu's death.

Ill miss it, If they're gonna get rid of satoko's current outfit. The shoes and black garments where cool! Maybe momoji will hand down her old ninja suit, since it seems that she's trying to influence or inspired satoko and konoha, and doing this will boost her confidence.

Thank you hundredburger and underpaid civ engineer!!!!!

What-if fully leans into the dark comedy aspect of Ninkoro and I love it. I feel lately that the newest chapter like to treat things more "seriously" for lack of a better term, with a larger focus on the drama.

I think thats great personally, I see it as the pair becoming less cold blooded and valuing human life, hence less black comedy. It's still great to see burger-sensei can still generate laughs from our fleeting mortality. I especially love Konoha saying "Nah I'd win" to Sakura's super wave cannon. That's another ending Sakura ruined!

Love to see Ayaka again and it's so interesting to see her without her infatuation to Kuro. She seems like a nice person, being happy to see her fellow escapee Satoko. Optimistically, I would say that Kuro used her substitution jutsu she used against Yukari, faked her death and erased Ayaka's memory. Knowing HundredBurger, I would believe that Yuri was killed, Kuro erased Ayaka's memory, and then ended her life, explaining why the organization claimed she died. Yuri was the reason why she wanted to escape, and it even costed the lives of other escapees. It would have been all for nothing. Whatever happened there glad it didn't happen for real.

Satoko and Konoha are finally cooking together... its peak. We've come far from their one-sided relationship and they are picking each other up ahhhhh.

Also that one panel of fox marin eating that burger is great

I think it would be funny and sad if Yoshida was Minato's gofer. She is the first person you think of as "nice" in this manga and maybe she was inspired to be a doctor by Aoi.

I just want to see Yoshida again please don't hurt her anymore Burger-Sensei!!!!
