To be fair, the Templeborn chapters aren't relevant to the overarching plot. It was mostly Miyazawa having fun with an action side-plot. And this chapter was so good I can easily forgive not covering it in the manga.

Of course, if you are interested in the missing arc, you can read the novel which has an official English release and is easily available on J-novel Club and various digital stores. hint hint

Yeah, kind of a shame, though I can understand the decision. I really liked the Templeborn arc, it's still one of my favorite volumes. I felt that it brought back the suspense/horror that was a bit lacking in vol 5. I also really enjoyed the bits about Sorawo's classes, but I know this part would not translate well at all in the manga format.

Anyway, looking forward to the continuation. Kasumi is a bit more unsettling than I remembered. Also, why was Toriko surprised to hear that Sorawo doesn't like kids? She barely cares about people in general (or so she says...).

This isn't true? Templeborn happens after Kasumi is introduced, and Runa is (re)introduced. In fact templeborn should be the next arc, even if minor details were shifted

If you go back and reread volume 6, it's more than a little shift.
