I was so worried this was gonna be super dramatic and I didn't want to go to sleep with something depressing on the mind so I just totally flipped over my reading order and it turns out it was literally the most happy go lucky thing Takemiya has ever made lol. I'M LOVING THIS PERIOD OF NO TAKEMIYA OVERDRAMATICNESS!
Would've preferred a more concrete ending to this one though EVEN THOUGH I STILL LOVE IT!

Damn, I have one friend who's a really awesome writer (like, he could take any concept and run with it, in any genre or language) and loves a challenge . . . I wonder what I'd have to say to get him to try a yuri . . .

Try watching Kashimashi Girl meets Girl , Sasameki Koto , Aoi Hana , those are also some great yuri and shoujo ai anime .

Not unlikely, but considering there has been absolutely no mention of that, plus the 'entering a bath while the girl is naked' cliché, I seriously doubt it.

We scanlate doujins out of order, so the year doesn't remotely indicate how much we need to do. For instance, we've only done 3 out of 17 known Takemiya doujins between 2007–2011 but are only slightly behind on 2014–2015 works.

Surely Strawberry panic fills all those criteria - except its overly dramatic I guess? And Aoi hana and Sasameki Koto anime too have story progression and arn't 3 minutes long - ofcourse they are are only small parts of their stories since the manga were still ongoing but.. Or kashimashi? - They are all way more yuri then inugami was.

Also I don't think in Sakura Trick they were kissing just to kiss - like it could of been anyone - they just have't reached the realization they are IN love yet - though i'd say its clear they are - again because its from an ongoing manga it wasn't going to get a proper romance ending.

I generally agree in that I'm not a fan of Takemiya's angsty love triangle stuff - but I wouldn't call this his most happy go lucky work myself - all the perfume of love stories, the three part game, and other one shots like Adorable to Me, kila kila & rin rin are equally or more so - and they actually become couples in most of those.

That said I did like this one but it does seem to end in the middle with nothing resolved so i'll hope its a 2 shot.
