I generally dislike monster girl stories, and I definitely dislike harem, but I'm really enjoying this series. It's really kind of sweet.

Kyouko-chan's body, though...kind masculine looking in that bath scene. Did the author not have a good model?

I imagine anyone would become quite well-built if they carried their head in their arms all their life haha

That's kinda something I've thought about through the whole manga. None of the characters are really drawn with any sex appeal(with a few exceptions, mostly BeefyArms-sensei), with the lumpy lines and baggy clothing. I'm wondering how much of that is just the artist's style and how much is a conscious decision. Either way, I like it. It's a bit refreshing, imo.

I'm personally a big fan of it. It has an air of sharp realism behind it, and I suppose it's just me being a bit strange, but I find it rather appealing in its own way. There's just the right touch of it, instead of a smattering.

A monster-girl centric manga without it devolving into the typical harem garbage and instead focuses on the conflicts, social or otherwise, brought about by the inherent differences between them and normal people? What planet have I been living on and why haven't i migrated to this one?

As a monster girl artist myself, I can only apologize on behalf of my genre and promise I've been trying really hard to help it break out of that mold. Besides my own work, I've been promoting the hell out of comics like Anko-san, Bird Cafè and this one, which focus on exploring the characters' monster nature rather than treating the genre as a niche fetish.

What was the Japanese term that translated to nib-nib in this chapter?

But vampire-chan is currently bouncing between her sister and the Yuki-onna right now. I don't think she realise yet, but she does have a thing for girls

Okay, so figured out that in Japan, it's normal to call people with there surname. Is that as a sign of respect or something? I'm glad that in my country that isn't because it would be irritating for me because i have a terrible surename...

Partly is respect, but you also only call really close person by first name.

I guess first name in Japan is like nickname in Western standard. Only those close enough to you will give you some sort of nickname. And you will feel kinda uncomfortable if someone not as close called you by nickname

And... nickname in Japan is like nickname lvl 2 in Western standard

I'd probably suggest Takkun. I'm not very imaginative for names though.
