I don't know what the original pre-translation line back in chapter 1 said, so I can't say for sure, but Eri has been shown to have two siblings even before now.

The scene with the freaking whistle killed me. Only Ayari would have a face that would lead to a child blowing such an implement. XD

Also, this manga has officially inspired my interest in baking and cooking.

What does Ayari mean, when she says no to oven baked pizza, do they not have an oven? Sachi's father bought them a 100 $ ham leg + the shipping costs. As well as luxury Foie Gras and a full raclette cheese wheel. He and his wife are touring the entire world as their honeymoon. How can he not afford a goddamn oven.

This was bugging me too, so I did some research and apparently ovens are not a thing in Japan. Microwaves with an oven setting, sure, but there's not a lot of large ovens for, say, baking cakes or big batches of cookies or pizza. hence the pizza in a pan.

I like the running gag of them keeping a gigantic leg of ham around just in case they ever feel the need to add ham to any of their dishes.

Revealing my ignorance of food here... but how long does ham stay good for? That's the ham their father sent them back in chapter 1, isn't it? I mean... sure, almost anything can last forever if you freeze it, but wouldn't that eventually affect the quality?

It's covered in salt to draw out moisture and preserve. Then its dried. Lasts several months after you first start cutting into it as long as you cover the part you've cut with some of the rind or a cloth. Also you want it at room temp in a dry area. Not in the fridge.

They mentioned they got another ham from Dad in the summer rolls chapter. They probably get a new one every few months since they can apparently afford it.
