Except when it's entirely possible, and any number of couples are like that.

It's entirely possible that some people don't have any libido and don't even masturbate. It's not that frequent though.

It's also possible that some people, in couple or not, don't have any sexual activity, even though they want to have some. But it's definitely not healthy.

Sex is about having a good time, whatever that entails for the people involved. It's all well and good to watch something designed to be aesthetically pleasing, but when someone's had their head in your crotch for 30 minutes, I'm not sure how that's supposed to be sexy or serious. It's healthy to be able to laugh and joke around about how ridiculous that actually is.

I don't get why people treat it as this huge serious thing, especially in a relationship. It's an enjoyable activity between two people who care about each other, and if someone wants to grab my boob and make honking noises on occasion, that's fine by me.

"Ridiculous" for me sounds like it'd be something to be embarassed about.

I never felt it to be the case.

The best is not when you have a lot fun (even if it's nice), but when you pour your feelings into it.

My point was that, no matter how fitting the pieces look, they won't necessarily come together, I can understand that the story looks like it's stopped in it's track but Shou kinda wrote himself into a corner here because there is really next to no way to make the romantic-option look like a logical next step, sure the shippers would be happy but there are plenty of people that don't want to see them together because they don't really see the point in it when they are getting along just fine.

Just have to say I disagree. They have a good thing now, that's no reason not to keep it evolving, as you're kind of implying with 'they are getting along just fine.'. There is drama we know is in store, and if done right, this certainly could be done to make the relationship take a more romantic spin.

Seriously, a good thing now doesn't mean there isn't a better thing possible. This 'transcending sexual desire' thing sounds like a load of tosh. They have a deep connection, but I think you're reading way too much into it.

I seriously love the manga, I really am quite happy with how it is now, I don't feel it needs more yuri (and believe me that's a rare thing for me to say), its refreshing look at a relationship that sits somewhere between platonic and romantic and its just adorable to see, also the subtlety of their relationship means that whenever anything even small happens between them I AM SO FREEKIN HAPPY LIKE SERIOUSLY instead of in other manga where I'd be like "great they held hands, now how many chapters untill they do the fricklefrack"

It's honestly up their now as one of my favorite mangas of all time, can't wait to see where it leads

No, it didn't happen. Keiko obviously faked being unconscious. I don't know if she faked being breathless either, but if she didn't then already from the moment of checking Keiko's breath, Ran intentionally decided for the CPR as a tease.
In any case, she properly followed the first-aid instructions and unbuttoned Keiko's shirt. She should've undo the bra too, but here she said "beautiful", that completely gave Keiko away because she blushed. At the moment Ran was 100% certain Keiko's totally conscious, so instead of doing the compressions she faked the "kiss" with her fingers.

I'm pretty certain Ran really kissed Keiko. I means that trick is too obviously fake when you think about it, and Keiko already in too many relationship to know if a kiss is real or not.

Ran meanwhile probably never in one if based on the timing. And thought she can trick others with it. It obviously feel different
