I am fine with either ending as long it's done and written well (MC getting together with her friend or MC getting together with the lil sister...perhaps both if the author is feeling wild and crazy enough lol.)
Tho if it goes the lil sis route then I hope MC will eventually get over her weird fixation and problem in the future cuz we going to have issues here since lil sister is going to grow up soon...then I will fking hate and wish a horrible death upon MC for dumping lil sis just like that other yuri manga where the MC is a full on P-Word(who dump her former flame[Now legal loli] for a real loli)~
I really wonder though...How traumatized was the MC during 3rd grade and how badly was she rejected to become a lolicon??? If was MC just that mentally weak and couldn't get over her old crush...?
I dont really want to get too deep into it and what I said isnt always true but i'd say thats generally how many view it. That you shouldnt conflate some imaginary character or some line art with the real thing.
Imaginary, exaggerated, but also heavily stylized. Anime characters don't look like real people in the slightest (they often don't even act like them). These aren't life-like recreations. These aren't portraits. Their faces are sometimes triangles. Their "age" is mostly a reflection of clothing and a change in hair. It's not at all realistic. Some people get that and some don't.
Lolicon can mean the P-Word I guess but sometimes it's doesn't, depends on the person I guess? Loli does not mean real child and cartoon/anime is not realistic looking at all indeed...though like I said it depends on the person I guess.
As long as people don't start harassing other people and falsely accusing other people without 'evidence (No liking loli character is not evidence...tho it can be weird and gross at times...)' then it's fine...I seen a dozen of virtue signalers from Twitt*r trying to shame people and harass people for liking loli but in the end ironically...got found out to be abusing real life children (A.K.A- hypocrites).

It sad but some people are born with different talents or brains even if their parents are extremely talented (Some are gifted in music but suck at math or they are gifted in computers but suck in memorizing stuff ironically.)
