If not projecting onto the uke is an ironclad rule, then some of the doujinshi I've been reading were clearly made by hardened criminals.

it's confusing but in the show the female versions of the main characters aren't related, they're just a group of friends that happen to be similar to the main brothers.

I quite like the dynamic of one of them being a Fujoshi, it's something I havent seen in any Yuri
