I've seen that same line enough times to consider it a trope at this point, on the same league as "No, wait, it's dirty!" But it's such a weird, painfully awkward question. And not in a good way. Especially since I have a hard time imagining anyone over the age of 12 asking that sort of question, which makes it super uncomfortable. I mean, I know Japan is pretty sexually repressed, but come on.

No, it didn't, although Suuna did make a meta reference to the usual "thanks for reading" blurb that accompanies series endings on p9. (To clarify, there was another series that ended their run in the same issue with said blurb, and Semi-friend didn't have it. There's also nothing alluding to the series ending next month either so we're good for now.)

Admittedly I know little about how puberty works with girls. But isn't having explain what wetness between a woman's legs means, to highschool girl, roughly the same as having to explain what an erection means to highschool boy. Because I'm pretty sure, that higschool boys would be well acquainted with erections, even if they were somehow so naive they didn't know what they were for.

Sometimes for women getting wet is something like morning wood, or not related to arousal. It could happen as discharge, ovulation process, or just because you're super hydrated on a specific day. In that context though of making out it really does apply to the, but alas they are useless lesbians

Erections in teen boys aren't necessarily linked to arousal either. My point was that a highschool girl should be able, to at least, recognize that it's something that happens to girls her age, without immediately jumping to "pants peeing".

Now that I think about. Shouldn't they have taken at least one sex ed. class by highschool.

To be fair, in Japan toilets, even public toilets are pretty clean. While I still would put my head on the toilet lid, there are no sent nor dirt in most toilets. Definitely different from my highschool experience for sure.

The confession and all was great, but the fact that it happened in a bathroom kinda spoils the mood.
