its been over 200 years since the events of touhou 6 (when the vampire girls went to gensokio) ,after living for 600+ years she just wanted to die , after wandering around she finds out the other youkai (monsters kinda) dont have a concept of death just like her. Except for Marisa the human witch who decided to not be inmortal thus she died long ago.

The most broken girl would be naturally alice margatroid since they happend to become friends and it was believed that alice had a crush on marisa , so she wanted to make a doll of her trying to bring her back.

I'm late, but do that, shimeji simulation has yet to get too depressing but make sure to read the small series of images that tsukumizu also did for it. Girl's last tour is done though, and yeah it's safely just as depressing but I very much recommend it for the surprising unexplainably hopeful message it conveys of living your life to the fullest despite knowing that death will eventually come.
