I don't know, it feels like they're the traditional type who just want to go to mixers and karaoke... I wouldn't risk my fate, is not even necessary at this point, is just hard.

Is good that there doesn't seem to be a smart perceptive type in the group because Chidori is having such a hard time hiding it XP

Sure, they would probably be surprised and be kinda weird about it, but this is starting to feel less about being scared of coming out (which is an understandable fear) and more about dragging out the premise.

At the end of chapter 12, it should be "pedestrian crossing", not "pedestrian bridge".

i feel that as well..the theme for this is consistent..but TOO consistent. I don't see it ever evolving.

But what would be considered evolving really? they're already going out and promised that they will go on dates just the two of them (I think that's evolving!) so their feelings and interaction are growing and that's what we're seeing... and these kind of relationships in secret (which makes like the 70 or 90 % of gay relationship in highschool I think?) are always like this... In fact, if the author comes up with the "someone spread the rumor of us so I'm going to end this relationship and say we are just friends so people won't talk behind your back... Of course, I'll do this by myself without consulting you first because that's the best for you" and then they discuss in front of the class and go back together ... will that be really evolving or just drama ? And a love triangle won't work in this case.

Doesn't help that the art style is somewhat reminiscent of hers and the character designs for these two in particular is very similar, lol.

I don't think they're afraid of being shunned or bullied or whatever. Look at what happened when Nanoha just mentioned that she had someone she liked: she was bombarded with questions. If Rei-chin, Asumi, and Kumako knew they were dating, then they'd never hear the end of it. Nanoha and Chidori already blush so easily. If they were subjected to constant jokes, questions, and teasing from their friends, they would be in a state of perpetual embarrassment.

There's no way they know. The entire conversation in chapter 13 makes no fucking sense if those three know. No one would act that way.

No, neither Asumi nor Kumako (the two in the room with Chidori at the start) know. Asumi clearly doesn't know or she wouldn't be asking Chidori about getting a boyfriend in the first place. And look at how excited Kumako is when Asumi brings it up, and also how disappointed she is once Chidori says she's not interested in getting a boyfriend. Plus, she's the one who says that Nanoha liked a boy in the past, there's no way she'd bring that up if she knew the two of them were dating.

It's possible that Rei-chin knows. Of the three, she seems to be the one most able to keep a secret, and also the most perceptive. Her reaction on page 10 is somewhat suggestive. But there's really no evidence either way for her. We see rarely interactions between Nanoha or Chidori with any of the three one-on-one, and we never see anything from their perspective.

The fact that abe-chan and her senpai are both girls and going out and the friends reaction was LETS GO TEASE THEM!! really says it all to me, I don't know why they don't just tell their friends
