Another one of these huh. Too bad. When I first started reading it, the art style struck me as being very early-2000s, a throwback to the beginnings of modern yuri like the ones I always remember from Yuri Tengoku. The plot turned out to be anything but that, though.

It has yuri or at least heavy subtext I heard - but It is only the first half of the story? So I want to wait till part 2 comes out - it probably ends on a cliffhanger.

That's not the case. The game is a complete story, and while it has multiple endings, some of which are quite sad, the "true end" is quite happy and complete. In fact, you should be able to infer what happens from this doujin. In any case, the game is strongly yuri, and well worth playing on that basis. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Judging from Gyuunyuu Linda's past content, I would say that's very likely. This might've been her first foray into a longer type of format, and leaning on drama to stretch things out is hardly an uncommon practice.

Anyway, nice that it ended the way that it did - very much in the way I would've expected from GL - although it certainly does feel abrupt. This could definitely use a sequel or afterstory.

Simply magnificent. Mountain Pukuichi is one of the few authors whose works can temporarily quench even my insatiable thirst for frequent, lengthy embraces and snuggling. Senpai/sempai is close to, but not quite, being accepted into the english language as a loanword.

Little do you know, translation notes for basics like "sempai" or "onee-sama" are a 15+ year old Lililicious release tradition, and it wouldn't feel like a proper one without them.

Neither of the love interests were in the right. Nagisa is also to blame for mistrusting her lover and for giving up so quickly. Saying "I'm worried you might cheat on me" is disgusting. A baseless, passive-aggressive guilt tripping before the fact. Saying that to someone could only ever make them feel horrible. It was self-centered and undeserved.

Also note how quickly and easily Nagisa was willing to walk out and never look back instead of trying to understand Misaki's pain and calm her fears, empathizing with her in a terrible situation, let alone trying to get to the bottom of what really happened. She just washes her hands of it and leaves. It seems to me she was ever only concerned with her own position in the relationship, and never with Misaki's side of things.

In short, all the people saying they hope Nagisa finds someone else should think about whether they really want some other girl to face that kind of mistrust and self-absorption.

That's not to say I didn't find the story very entertaining, I did. Fairly nice artwork as well. Thank you, Yuri Project.

People play Pokemon as a male character? Wait, a male option even exists? Stop making things up, that's crazy.

Anyway, once more it is confirmed that Nintendo does soulless translations that strip out a huge amount of the charm and character their games have in Japanese. I was recently annoyed while playing Alpha Sapphire that the yuri-ish female "Sempai and Kouhai" trainers were instead called "teammates" in English, which does not carry the nuance of the relationship over at all. As said, there's a lot of that kind of hamfisted work.

On page 20, Umi gives the classic "do you want dinner, a bath, or how about me?" line, which is pretty much the most stereotypical welcome-home-honey wifely remark possible in Japanese. That line, all by itself, is more than enough to make clear that they are a couple, and one in a cozily domestic type of relationship.

It's not the content I have a problem with at all; the situation is actually fairly interesting. It's simply that the presentation has been very unfulfilling. Needless to say, the "Jun storyline" has not been laid out in an effective way whatsoever. Still, I am interested to see what Misaki does from here on.

Not sure why people are confused. The premise, such as it is, was clearly explained on page 6. The school nurse is basically functioning as a type of "secret police", empowered by the school board to quietly handle any untoward incidents. The fact she is herself a blazing lesbian and doing it with a student is par for the course. There was nothing supernatural, Saegusa just has a forceful (and somewhat psychotic) personality. As an undesirable element, she was investigated and eliminated by Sensei and her deputy detective Anko.

I was actually really enjoying it until the rough stuff/dubious consent started. Maybe subsequent chapters will improve on that, but if I know anything about multi-chapter ecchi, it's that it tends to escalate with time...we'll see.

No, in the show, the dresses the idols wear are always called "coords".

Anyway, reflects a lot of my sentiment about the Ichigo/Mizuki relationship. Early in Aikatsu, they had this kind of seemingly fated relationship; Ichigo, the main character, and Mizuki, the ideal she was chasing after. It certainly seemed then that Ichigo's eventual destiny would be to stand with and by Mizuki as an equal. But the show had other plans for both of them, and that vision was never realized. So this certainly captures some of that bittersweetness. (Although romantically speaking, I still ship Ichigo with Aoi.)

An old favorite I have revisited many times.

Kneel to the Great Ones. Sailor Moon, Utena, and Marimite are the three great pillars that founded modern yuri as we know it. They begat the Golden Age of Yuri Anime (2004-2009) from which was born Strawberry Panic, Kannazuki no Miko, Mai-hime and many, many others. Let the bells ring forever in memory of their deeds, never forsaken, never forgotten.

On the title page I had to double check that this wasn't an Asagi Ryuu work. All the elements seemed to be there. However, it quickly became clear that one of the most important hallmarks of Asagi's works - the mutual attraction and passion leading into genuine romance - was absent.
