Okay. I noticed it about 3 pages in and I cannot unsee it. Memetic hazard ahead:

Why is Takina looking up the entire time? Does the artist not know what Takina looks like from from any other direction but low angle?

Ok those girls at the aquarium were to unique to not be a cameo from something.

Looks like this artist was a huge fan of the Frieren looking up meme .

Yeah, I'm going to be carefull throwing grenades from inside my glass shed (see that "hand") but this artist seemingly can't draw Takina well. Not just her head, but general anatomy too. (Weird pose and spine, potato face...)

Which is like really weird because I checked his Pixiv and its generally fine, same with the other characters in this doujin. Like, look at his storyboarding; he clearly knows what he's doing. And it's even more puzzling because Takina is basically as generic as an anime girl can get design-wise.

I just assumed fu-ta was memeing, honestly.

This feels either very rushed or even ai to me. I wanted to make a "I support futa" joke, but not in this case. :c

I did not mean to throw shade at the artist. I thought it was very funny, but also incredibly distracting when I noticed it. And yes, I also immediately thought of the 'Frieren looking up' meme.

I always appreciate the Official tag and when its a date even better. Cannot wait for the next.
