The role of biology in omegaverse stuff is always weird (here being used to describe something as “interesting” or “philosophically notable” rather than strictly bad). It reminds me of the social category based YA dystopia craze from a bit ago. The children (here being used as a memetic catch all for any audience regardless of age) yearn for societal determinism with a nightmarish flavor in its capacity to supersede individuality. Theres something to be said for attempting to interrogate or reappropriate our own norms from a emotionally safer distance x3.
(Pretty good comic, writing/drama felt a bit clunky at times but that might’ve been exasperated by my own detachment reflex when it comes to these themes in particular. Should give it another run-through to focus more on the erotica angle, since all my big takeaways were some intellectual bullshit lmfao.)
