i started reading the manga thinking this was hella gay and in one chapter wada believed yamamoto was getting a boyfriend and she got quite jealous but that leaded to nothing saddly.

this has to be the canon ending . kiwi seemed crazy at first but so did utena , in the progression of the story they seemed to fall in love with each other little by little.
