I mean, after seeing the discussion in the images thread I can to an extent understand why someone may have a problem with the image you posted here, even if it's mostly the artist poking fun at history as usual, albeit at some darker parts of it this time. But I remember very well the "n-word pass joke" as you call it and that one was very clearly making it a point to show it was wrong of the character to (almost) say it.

Idk, that clearly seems to be satirical, ridiculing colonizers rather than glorifying them. You may personally interpret it as denigrating the victims of the satirized party's abuse or belittling the abuse, but I don't think that's the way it's meant to be read. Of course, humor is in the eye of the beholder, and the darker it gets, the more likely it is to rub more people the wrong way.

I don't think saying the Spanish (just) "love brown women" is ridiculing them, neither is joking that the Opium Wars to be about Brits giving MSG to the Chinese (especially when the real history of MSG is a Japanese researcher isolating it and then Western racists panicking and trying to ban it). I don't know what sort of ridicule makes abusers look good.

But I'm tired of talking to Centurii stans. Apparently glorifying colonialism is fine as long as you make it look like Yuri.

On the topic of Centurii-chan, can a mod please intercede in the discussion? Even it to say "racism is alowed on the site as long as it looks like Yuri or is labelled as a joke", at lease then I'll know not to browse here anymore.

They don't have to, although they usually are. The biggest example would be the thread on the Web Novel version of Buying a Classmate once a Week, however, those topics usually don't have much traction, unless it's something like the Genshin Impact Gacha thread or the VTuber thread which covers already very popular topics outside the yuri niche.

I'm sorry, but you'll have to keep waiting for now. There's been a lot to read, and I want to make sure I'm speaking with everyone relevant to the decision before we address anything. In this case it's more important to me to get it right the first time, rather than rush to make a statement we'll have to amend later.

The best I can tell you is that we're reading everything, the image you posted previously was removed from the site, and there'll be a response when we're ready to make one. I find this to be actively worsening the experience even for modest cases like like this image, but ymmv. It certainly does alleviate you from scrolling.

Depending on your device(s) and browsing habits, there will certainly be better options than this attrocity.

Thanks! That's good to know, theres a few things that I think are pretty popular but not uploaded here like "kill me now" and "I Want to be Liked By that Shy Girl", but I wasn't sure if it was ok to talk about other sites uploads.
