Can this manga's art be classified as Shoujo Art?

Is there any Yuri series whose art is as sparkling as Shoujo manga?

i just started reading The Feelings We All Must Endure and that looks like straight up Shoujo, with its panel and dialogue layout. — Until you start actually reading. The protagonists are all university+ age, and discussed topics also don't quite seem to be the standard shoujo demographic stuff

all that to say: what is and isn't shoujo probably has drastically changed in the past 20 years.

given that volume one is on sale, with, I reckon the first five chapters, I'm gonna guess it'll be two double chapters for day six and seven, plus one closing chapter for the fallout / aftermath for volume two.

That volume release probably also explains the delay.

Yeah, volume 1 is 5 chapters. I could see it. I don't expect more than volume 2 either way.

They are speed running this, I can't believe it's only been 6 days

I'm about to go f*cking feral. This sh*t is too good.

This just feels like such a realistic portrayal of a highschool relationship. So much of romance manga is about this overarching Romeo and Juliette style love story where these two 15 years create this unrealistically perfect and incredibly mature and deep love.

This, on the other hand, is just two highschoolers who's relationship started with "Hey, you wanna go out?" "Sure". And they're just having fun with it. Doing what feels good. Enjoying being together. It makes this story stand out as being very uniquely relatable: going to a karaoke place to make out, the "Hey, wanna bang? We gotta hurry before my parents get back," Manatsu struggling with Nagi's bra. It's all just so damn real, I don't know how else to describe it.

If it weren't for the whole 7 days thing, this would be just like every relationship in my highschool. It just feels very endering to read about a casual relationship for once, instead of a perfectly crafted teen movie romance (which are still nice, it's just cool to have a change of pace). There hasn't even been any drama so far! It's just so goood!!!

We've finally reached the opening panels of the first chapter.

Maybe I forgot but do we know how experienced Sumie is (she seems in control and comfortable)? Maybe I am forgetting her history. Could be part of what Manatsu is wondering about, although I think her more obvious question centers around whether this has become a real relationship or not.

The expressions and reactions in this manga remain peak. I mean pretty much everything in the manga is great, but the way we see everything going though Mantatsu's head really puts it over the top.

If you like this check out their earlier “I'm a Cabaret Hostess But I Fell For a College Girl” (is this only at MD?) which went for just one volume but has similar humor. I wish they got to do longer series, but this one looks to be short as well? At least it is structured to be short. I want more though.

I think it's a combination of her personality and knowing that she liked girls for a lot longer than Akari. So I'm assuming she's done a bunch of research on it over however long. On the other hand, Akari just figured out how girls have sex a day ago lmao.

This manga really is wonderful. It's full of such realistic feeling intimacy between two girls who are going with the flow as they do what feels "right" for them.

Manatsu continues to be an amazing MC. She is such an adorable little goober full of great expressions every chapter.

Knowing she likes girls and doing relationship stuff (even sex) for the first time feels like different things. I just get the feeling she's done all this stuff before, maybe with that tutor? Either way, I imagine there's a reason why she introduced this arrangement in the first place.

We haven't gotten a lot of Sumie's reactions or feelings about things besides some vague tutor flashbacks and a key moment where she wanted to say something to Manatsu but stopped herself. Otherwise, she's always been level (except for that storm). Maybe we'll find out later whenever Manatsu asks her question.

My impression was Sumie is doing this "7 days GF" thing in the first place because she confessed to her tutor and was told no with an excuse along the lines of "you're too young and inexperienced".
So she's trying to speedrun the whole girlfriend thing for "the experience".
