Do we know for sure that Mizusawa is Karen? They give off different vibes in their respective stories.

Wow I didn't notice the mole lol, that's a better catch than the earring. She has a great character design.

I also propose this: what if Karen's unnamed mysterious ex gf is actually Yuzuru?? Their hairstyles are sorta similar and she even says "sorry I like someone else" That could be referring to Mao, and it would also close the 5 girl loop

Yuzuru likes Mao, Mao likes Nachi, Nachi likes Hatsune, Hatsune likes Karen, and Karen liked Yuzuru before moving on and finding Ito!

The only thing is that Yuzuru is most likely a first year like Mao and Nachi, while Karen is a third year, so it's unlikely they would have known each other and been dating

So, the only girls not involved in a love triangle are Ito and Karen, who like each other at least thats what I think the red line with two arrows connecting them means (though Hatsune likes Karen). Also, Kouno and Kyouko are not in any love triangle judging by the red line with two arrows at the end. The rest have feelings for someone who's either already in a relationship or likes someone else. Nice :D

The chart helps, thank you. Damn, I failed to notice just how extensive the chain of pining is. I liked some of these a lot more when I perceived them as standalone pre-relationship rather than one-sided :')
