I’ve lurking on here for many years but I’ve recently just started suggesting uploading images, but i noticed that out of the multiple suggestions of different images only one gets chosen, can someone explain to me the thought process of what gets uploaded or not ?

Every three to four days a batch of 36 images gets uploaded. A single batch will have a variety of fandoms and a variety of pairings, generally. More popular fandoms (vtubers, Touhou and such) will get more slots (4, 5, or 6, but rarely more than that), and even then the accent will usually be on variety (meaning: different pairings). Smaller fandoms might only get a single slot amongst the 36 images.

If you request, for example, 20 vtuber images, most of them will not be included. If all 20 depict the same pairing, only a single one will realistically get uploaded, because of the aforementioned accent on variety. My advice is to send a small number of images, only a few, every three or so days, and make sure they are all different pairings, and potentially different fandoms. I sometimes saw 4 or even 5 of my requests uploaded in a single batch, you just need to know how to game the system (the system in this case being dpf).

Ultimately, this is left to dpf's discretion, he is the sole decider when it comes to image uploads, and he puts a premium on quality, so you will have higher chances to see your requests chosen if you opt for better looking ones (or alternatively, those that have a really funny or good joke, reference, or a short story contained within).

In general, Dynasty is not really the best place to actually search for images. Because of the very limited nature of image uploads here, you will never get the variety and the sheer volume of content as you will on, say, Danbooru. My advice is to not try and request every single image from every single artist you like, Dynasty is simply not about that when it comes to images. Instead, think of it like a heavily curated selection that gives you a taste, and then you go to other places (such as Danbooru or Pixiv) to fill your belly by looking up the artists that caught your eye here.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but recently I haven't been able to use my right arrow key to navigate forward through a chapter in Firefox. The issue only seems to happen with my right arrow key; left arrow still takes me back a page, and up and down still scroll the page I'm currently on, but right arrow does not take me forward a page like it used to. Only seems to be happening in Firefox, it works just fine in Edge and Chrome. I'm not 100% sure when this started happening, but I believe it was within the last two weeks.

I'm seeing the same after Firefox updated to 127.0. The right arrow key does not work but the left one does. Curiously it only happens at a specific page width. The key starts working when I resize the window or fiddle with the zoom level.

I'm not sure I can provide any useful info beyond that. For me it triggers when $(window).width() is like 1300-1350, above or below that everything's fine. Also no errors in the console when this happens.

That sounds like it's happening when you get a left/right scroll bar for a page.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to "request tags" or if that's even a thing we're allowed to do, but I saw somebody else ask for a tag to be made a thing, and nobody told them not to do that. So, here's my request. Can we have a #petplay tag? I've noticed that a lot of the art under the #BDSM tag seems to also be petplay, and I think it would make it easier to users to search for (or avoid!!) art with themes of petplay if it is tagged as such. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, if it is, can I be directed to the right place? Thank you for your help.

I think this new Pet Play tag would involve a lot of the artworks with people wearing collars/leashes, but it shouldn't apply to characters where the "collar" is actually a choker that is a part of their canon outfit. (UNLESS the character's choker is being used as a collar in a sexual way)
The Pet Play tag would also involve scenarios where a character is wearing a sort of harness or muzzle (again, not Pet Play if the accessory is a part of their normal outfit.)

This is a pretty niche problem, I imagine, but it's hopefully worth reporting. I use a pretty old tablet (a 10-year-old third-gen iPad) to read on, most of the time, and yesterday morning, it worked fine. Yesterday evening, not so much. I can see the cover/preview image for a series, and the thumbnails for associated images, but if I open a chapter or click on a thumbnail, I just get a blank box with a page number like "1" or an image id like "namename1207-img." I know losing compatibility comes with using ancient tech, but I'm hoping this won't be a permanent sadness.

Images and chapter pages have been converted to webp, which means breaking compatibility with iOS users using OS versions pre-2020/version 14
As of right now, we have no solution for you, sorry.

If you really want to keep the old tablet, set up "WebOne" proxy on your PC or on a VPS – it can transparently convert Webp to PNG for older browsers, and it'll even handle outdated SSL for the really old browsers.

(Currently it has some issues on Linux and you have to auto-restart it like on a hourly schedule, but it still should run fine on Windows.)

I've been using it with my ancient iPhone6 (which I mostly keep around just for Dynasty and Spotify really), and it works nicely, at least as long as dynasty sticks to simple Javascript and doesn't go full on React or something.

I second this, as there are many cute pictures that somehow fall under BDSM under the current rules. So fwiw, I'm greatly in favour of it.

However, there are a two things I want to preemptively throw into the ring:
1.) How does this interact with the already existing Animalization tag? Beware of Dog for example is tagged as such.
2.) What about collar+leash in "normal" bondage contexts, e. g. here (NSFW)? What about this (SFW)? Imho being liberal in what you accept, it is going to be easier on the mods who have to evaluate the tags to allow every kind of leash. (Well, except this one :P)

And to add my own list of examples (there about three dozen more depending on my second point), all SFW:

I think.. Having the Animalization tag and the Petplay tag existing at the same time will not be redundant, because there are some pictures that fall under Animalization that are not Petplay, and there are some pictures that fall under Petplay that are not Animalization.

I just checked out the Animalization tag. It seems to mostly be about characters transforming into real animals/being drawn as real animals https://dynasty-scans.com/images/16449?tag_id=8203, the transformation fantasies that some characters harbor about their friends/crushes/lovers (like in your example of Beware Of Dog), and the already existing animal-like personalities of characters being strengthened or pointed out by drawing animal features onto them (ears, tail)

Art tagged as Petplay does not have to be NSFW, (nudity, sex, et cetera) nor it have to be hardcore BDSM to be given the Petplay tag. That example you gave of the two Bocchi The Rock! characters in maid uniforms is a great example. It has no nudity, no sex, no hardcore BDSM (like being rough with the leash or degrading with words) but there is a leash and collar involved, and the characters are implied to be romantically/sexually interested in each other through the way their expressions and poses are drawn. It should be tagged as Petplay.

I think that some art pieces could be tagged with both BDSM and Petplay. Both things could be happening in a picture at once.

I VERY MUCH AGREE with you that every kind of art involving a leash and collar should have the Petplay tag to make it easier on the mods, UNLESS it's something like the example you gave, where the leash is there to stop a little kid from running off and causing trouble.
