there is no explicit canonical lesbian relationship between these two but the actresses are very aware of the chemistry and the dynamic and they play it up. wednesday's actress puts way more emotional vulnerability and affection into her scenes with enid than any straight counterpart she gets.

A lot of people, even non-shipper ship Wednesday and Enid, because the het romance triangle was honestly lacking, and there was more emotionnal vulnerability and respect between Wenesday/enid than any of Wednesday "love interest". So, yeah. I feel like a lot of Wenclair shipper ship it either because lesbian or spite.
