She loves being married to a woman?

Seeing what happened recently, the tittle should be "Lesbian divorce is a pain in the ass" XD, and I hope they are ready for that upcoming custody lawsuit!

Custody of what? No child was born was there?
Them splitting doesn't change the fact they are lesbians and will likely marry again. Same as non gay folks. When you fall down. You get up. Just cause you fail now doesn't mean you always will.

Anyway. The complexities involved with being with someone for life is just one more thing I wish was explored more in yuri. rolls up sleeves probably gonna have to do it myself.

Good point. It's annoying that most romances are about establishing a relationship, when that's usually the easy thing to do. It's tougher keeping it going.

But I guess that's also tougher to write about.

I live in Seattle . I married my partner 3 years ago. I'd say it's a very accepting place to live in. My wife and I are in the process of adoption . The state ( Washington) was the very first place in the world to approve same-sex marriage by a popular vote referendum.

Once Taiwan marriages start I suspect that could help change the views in Japan. It will be closer to home. More ppl will exposed that there's nothing to be afraid of and more couples in Japan may fly to Taiwan to marry . That will be a new challenge that may eventually force the Japanese government

I don't really understand why they really need the sperm donor to be a part of their and their child's lives. Won't it make the child feel less like theirs?

It usually makes it easier for the child to understand the situation regarding its real father; and also many fathers want to see their kid is well. Of course, this is not possible in many cases (and often this shows only over time after the kid is born), but if it's possible, I'd say it's better for everyone.

The last letter is bittersweet
If they have their own kids, and if they get to see the letter, it'll be.. it'll be really heart warming..

Especially the part where they eager to be themselves
They say
We can now be ourselves and bring lots of kindness and love to this world

Because people are being optimistic about lives and they have been so supportive for us, we too , would like to show our kindness to them

The part where they could see hope in the future and knowing that their kids will be receiving lots of love, guidance and support...
It's an irony that they separate

By the way..
I came to see one of their IG and that I realize..

Would it be that the reason of their separation has something to do with them wanting to have kids? Because they don't like ruckus, therefore they decide to just split and remain as friends. Kou san was thinking simple. He just wanted to help these two ladies to have a family with his kid. Michael just wanting to be a part of Kou san 's life and his son, and the two ladies just wanting to have a family and a child together with their loved ones. None of them really think that much about complications that was suggested on the earlier posts. It made all sound complicated and tiring, especially when there are users who don't have any business in their lives yet wanting to make a discussion about them and also insulting their partners made them absolutely in pain. For example: understandable that Michael just wants to be the father of Kou san's child is not unreasonable, but to just say he's a terrible selfish man.. that's too much, don't you think so? They are real, fleshed human that still exists in real life. I don't think it's a good idea to just... criticize people like that, especially we don't really know much about their true lives

That being said, I think they just want the fights to be stopped...(◡ ω ◡)

I'm sure there will be ways to make them having their lives together without compensating the others. Somehow, there'll be a way. It'll be figured out.

I hope they are doing fine now
Sorry to both Kou san and Michael. The discussions that they had wasn't that much of a consideration taken in place especially they left out that the discussion they had here was between real people. It wasn't right to make a heated debate and then just turn to insulting human characters without knowing much of their backgrounds.

We're sorry about this m(_ _)m
