I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, like Sahra saying "there's no way I could love you", but it never did. Very strange ending actually. Like there's no twist where Sahra reveals her revenge is complete by having "brainwashed" (through all the uh... rape) Sugiya into craving sex with her. Instead they just proceed to fuck in the school bathroom lol

Well, that's because Sugiya was kind of in love with Sahra from the beginning, which was why she followed all of Sahra's orders. As she says, she didn't break off the relationship because she disliked what Sahra was doing, but because she finally realized that no matter what she did Sahra was never going to forgive her. Which was when Sahra revealed that she already basically forgave Sugiya long ago ("I began to regret ever having taken revenge"). The point is that they both formed genuine feelings out of their extremely mutually toxic pasts.

loved this. i got the official copy too, and it's made more explicit that sugiya feels she's being stupid by expecting sahra to return her feelings, which is part of the motivation for her calling it off

I thought that was clear from the story but I guess some of the discussions here say otherwise. Anyway, thanks for the update. Did the physical add extra scenes or just update language? How are Sugiya's feelings made more explicit? I might be interested.

Yeah I enjoyed this quite a bit. Would love a continuation that could explore their dynamics and their attraction more. It could be very interesting. Still works as is though. Mikanuji is another one who is familiar with unconventional dynamics.

The core idea here is really solid, but it feels like they mashed five chapters into one. Not a big fan of this.

I think pacing is kinda subjective, but it feels just right for a oneshot. Though, the end does leave for more to be desired and it'd be interesting to turn this into a series. I like the melancholic and bittersweet vibe this has.

I actually really liked this (except the "oops I thought I had two more pages to wrap this up" brick wall of an ending). A story about two people with "unforgivable" sins realizing that once that love is worth more than hating someone for their past even after they've changed and clearly demonstrated regret. A manga about restorative justice, one might argue :P
I was definitely not expecting to see near universal revile for the first few pages of this thread, especially people calling it pornographic (they don't even take off their clothes?? It's obviously NSFW but those terms are not synonymous) or a worse depiction of rape than average. It might be the influence of reading toxic Korean GL like Best Served Cold recently (the comic with the number one all time most toxic sapphic relationship I've ever seen in it's post-ending side stories) but this really feels like a subdued, responsible portrayal to me lol

As is, this is just someone's rape fantasy.

And that's okay!
