Didn't see your question there, Koneko but like Nezchan says, Kai is male(even if he wasn't born one) and Sachiko sees him as such. I don't think they'd be together if Sachiko saw him otherwise, much less be friends.

Aside from which, Sachiko refers to him as "he" pretty much always. Although to go by his portrayal in Honey & Honey I think his true identity is goofball.

Ugh this almost making me cry! When I first read this their relationship was lovely and now that they really broke up.. I can't think anymore:( I hope they both have happy lives despite going on separate ways now.

I've realized how cool the fact that we all care about the author and her relationship and friends so much is though the majority of us haven't even seen their true faces.
I'm really touched by Sachiko, Masako and their break up, I cried a lot too :c It's sad that people can't love each other forever, and this break up also was so sudden for me, just 5 pages against 32 chapters of them being together D: Too depressing.

One of the reasons I liked this manga aside from its comedy and unique artwork, was it was autobiographical. That last chapter got me all sad. Its good they're still friends, but dang...

This chapter is older than legalization of same sex marriage in France (2013) isn't it ? Small mistake I think... or I am just ignorant about this matter in my country don't think I am that was such a big movement x)

I still re-read this from time to time. Such a good manga.

Why did I read this .. I really didnt expect a manga like this, to put me in such sad mood. Dunno if it is because this happened in real life, but that manga just bringed me down. It just remembered me how real-life can be cruel .. got to read something like cross-heart or pieta now.

By the way, the author is such a nice person indeed, I wouldn't have forgiven her girlfriend. depressing as fuck tag should be added ...
