I liked the art especially since it's so different from the derivative work, and reminiscent of Horii Kisuke's art in a sense. Sometimes the babyish faces for these doujins throw me off a bit so it's always nice to see some sort of maturity in their physical features.

Yes! A conversation about Sunstone here. I actually found this comic maybe three weeks ago and I couldn't stop reading until the last page. The intensity made me reel. The characters are so well developed, sometimes it was like looking at facets of myself, or of friends. Can't wait to get my hands on a hard copy whenever this gets published. Definitely worth getting.

Yeah, in the beginning I was getting the impression they were friends and thinking, oh this isn't going to work at all. Even more so at the end. There are certain people, no matter how much you love them it doesn't mean it will work.

Didn't see your question there, Koneko but like Nezchan says, Kai is male(even if he wasn't born one) and Sachiko sees him as such. I don't think they'd be together if Sachiko saw him otherwise, much less be friends.
