I love how ambiguous it is, as to if it's two transmascs, two transfems, or a transmasc and a transfem, or even which one is transmasc and which one is transfem. That kind of ambiguity is great. Very gender.
^ The Iron-Blooded Orphans example really doesn't count for much in my opinion. Those were two demonstratively heterosexual women raising the son of their common dead male love interest together, with zero on camera indications of any sort of an actual romantic relationship going on. You could call them housemates without changing a thing from what was shown in that final episode.
