Will be noting changes made to the site every few weeks from now on, this is our first try. In an effort to keep the change log slim, I've only noted items that have had meaningful work done on them thus far. Some other, slower projects will pop up more in the future. I know it's April 1st but this is a real update! Happy April Fools'!
Small Housekeeping Update
Addressed ~1200 tag suggestions since March 1st
Putting a long-running project into hyperdrive, we hope to have eliminated the entire backlog by the beginning of summer. With this in mind, I have a request that will eventually become a rule:
Please do not re-request or spam tag suggestions. While the backlog created significant issues in the past in responding to old suggestions in a timely manner, duplicate requests did little but delay responses further. We will begin logging and taking user suggestions seriously as of now. Spammed requests will be treated the same as forum spam - deleted on sight, blocked, and/or eventually seeing the user(s) responsible removed entirely.
I will do my best to get in touch if I feel lines are being crossed. Thank you.
Removed tags on March 16th
The little-used, confusingly-implemented Glutton tag was removed and has been wholly replaced by Food.
The little-used and ill-defined tag Defloration was removed and not replaced.
These tags may still be browsed via lists found here: Defloration, Glutton.
Bug fixes
Addressed all known instances of a chapter duplicating bug, resulting in chapters appearing once on their series page, and once elsewhere on the site (usually the Author page, but sometimes unattached).
Addressed all known instances of an image tagging bug, in which poor tagging practices resulted in properly tagged images not showing up in the image search.
Future Plans
Existing and new tag requests will be addressed in an update later this month (April).
Beginning the process of updating the database for all the series entries! Primarily, we will:
a) Add necessary aliases, missing description information, and update any series with missing updates (that we are able to).
b) Update the Status tags as appropriate.
c) Add purchase links to all Licensed series, which will be done for all newly licensed series in the future.
