Speaking of, anyone watch it yet? I'm curious how the adaptation is. I try to avoid watching anything until the full season releases these days so it's gonna be a while before I look into it myself.

@BlueDsc I'm a reader of the manga. It's going great so far. The first episode is a fantastic slow burn, and it handles the series' morbid humor and sense of discomfort very well. The animation on the ghosts is also pretty good.

Well, mostly looking forward to it at least. I'm dreading the bit with her father. That chapter had me bawling when I first read it. Seeing it animated is going to absolutely destroy me.

^I tried to watch it but dropped with ep 2. The fanservice was too much for me. Might have gotten better afterwards since the manga started to tone down the fanservice around that point, but I'm not gonna bother checking

While I can understand why someone wouldn't want their stuff reposted elsewhere, it's a bit of a tough one still cause like, there are so many artists that I would never have known about had I not run into their stuff randomly posted online.

I mean heck, scanlated manga is the same way for me really. There are so many manga I own only because I found unofficial translations of them before. It's always funny when I see the "scanlation is piracy" thing cause well, if it wasn't for that piracy publishers wouldn't have gotten nearly as much money from me as they have.
