I don't want to hear someone tell me that this is a yuri pair, I just saw the movie. The film is undoubtedly beautiful but it was also a lot disappointing(not that I had nothing to expect from a movie Disney branded). -.-
Usually I look in doujinshi spite of the fact there isn't a real couple, but it was sad to see this movie when they put you in mind certain expectations :/

^ Except a lot of people love it and were not disappointed at all. Also- they might as well almost BE a cannon couple- you say they arnt a real couple, but there's a reason a lot of people ship them- they REALLY come across as romantic in the movie more than sisters.

I haven't even seen subtext throughout the whole movie. I really like yuri from the bottom of my heart, ansi, I'll tell you the truth, I usually am the first one who sees yuri where others, like my brother, would say that there is nothing between the two characters.

It a disney movie, usually there is a princess rescued by a prince. Here we just have two princess who go rescue each other and in the end it's the true love of Elsa that save Anna.

Elsa and Anna take turn being the prince and there is the true love thing. That's what make people think of this pairing I think.

Edit : There is also the way they compliment each other at the beginning

Just watched the show yesterday with very high expectations and wasn't disappointed at all. It pretty much confirmed that people should give Trigger all the money they need and they WILL make the best animations anime has ever seen.

I'm torn between Akko x Diane and Akko x Sucy but either way, I hope we'll get some more doujins and fan art. Looking forward to part 2 so much.
