I mean the het ended up being a ruse anyway. Sure Ise might have gone after the guy, but it was more about the idea I think. Pretty classic comp het thing. I’d say this chapter was way more gay than het, you just have to look at the subtext.

I wonder why this manga doesn't have a "comedy"-tag on here lol. This is one of the funniest manga I've seen in weeks.
And it even has great characters and some kind of development. Very nice!

I also love that they are both short ladies. You dont usually see both partners to be on the short side in yur.... roommate mangas often.

tbh, that's how I took it. Also that Ise is the one she loves. I mean, that's the feel I get from this whole chapter.

IMO the artist's secret is how they draw faces. Both protagonists are extremely emotive because the author does not rely on a standardized set of facial expressions but draws them from scratch in almost every situation. Note also how huge their heads are compared to their bodies, even for a manga, -- this gives the author even bigger canvas to register Ise and Shima's minute emotions.

Oh dear, this is becoming gayer by the moment.
