Yohane's style is not my favourite at all but it's objectively good, and I love the end result as a whole. And oh the happiness!

Yohane's art is pretty great, facial expressions are glorious... But the ones that stand out are the super happy smiles. And this particular manga had TONS OF EM!

Re-reading this again, I've come to the conclusion that the real thrust of the story isn't "How I Met Your (great-great-great-great-great-etc-grand) Mother" so much as accepting and welcoming Reimu into their family as Sanae's wife-to-be. Although the former is glorious and wonderful of course.

Is very interesting to contrast her doujins with her pin ups where NTR is a constant theme. It seems that on her headcanon those fluffy relationships are temporary and eventually everyone starts fucking everyone. Alternatively, she just likes to draw very horny lesbians.

This is the answer. The pin ups are just that, pin ups, no real connection to the doujins. Yohane's pics are for the most part based on questions asked to them on their website, like "I want a book where Sanae enjoys an oyakodon of Previous Generation Miko-sama (37 y.o.) and Reimu-san!", and thus draws Sanae with a pregnant Miko and pregnant Reimu.

There's no "all these relationships will die eventually in favour of sex" headcanon, they just like to draw porn and ships. A lot.

There are pinups that follow the plots of her doujins or that reference other pinups (like every work with Youmu or Byakuren) though. And even if they're isolated, they're still pretty NTR focused.

I really enjoyed this manga. Kanako in the past was basically the God of War, except she's a Yuri and has a massive entourage of pure-hearted maidens who admire and adore her. I also liked the contrast between the muscular Kanako and the full-figured Kanako in the present. I loved the fact that they want to bring Reimu into their family, as Sanae's waifu (lol) and that she'd be empowered by the Moriya faith. And only Suwako could start out as a vicious Yandere, only to end up pure "dere" thanks to the power of (yuri) love!

The doujinka known for his NTR and his anorexic girl fan art created a Suwako/Kanako doujin that I enjoyed, and that held true to canon.

There are pics that follow the plot of the doujins yes, but that doesn't mean they all do, which they don't. And I certainly wouldn't say they're NTR focused. They've probably drawn about 5 NTR pictures ever, total.
