I'd also really appreciate a way to track series chapter progress. Generally I'll put the next unread chapter in To Read for later, but that's not visible in the series chapter list (and means you have to remember to go back and remove it when you're finished).
Should we be tagging something like this as watamote and Jojo's? (There are similar untagged instances with Sakura Trick, Azumanga Daioh, and more.)
https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/yuris_world
Why not lol
Also, can this post get a "Ritsuko x Everyone" tag?
https://dynasty-scans.com/images/123
Also, are there artists who aren't allowed in the site or something? Because I noticed some artists never get posted.
I do know Radiostarkiller asked for their art not to be posted, but what about Qosic and Hews Hack?
We're doing some re-tooling in the back-end today, please let us know of any significant performance impacts. (I'll respond to the above later today as well)
This may have been suggested already, but here goes. A way to bookmark which chapter you're on for a series. If it alrwady exist, please tell me how do
Supposing (for the moment) that such a feature doesn't exist... I would probably just rely on my browser history for that (and have done, on occasion). If that's no good for you, how about making a custom list? Add the chapter to the list when you've read it, and there's your bookmark.
Hmmmm......this might work. I'll give it a try. Thank you

There's a userscript (mark read) that does this, assuming you read on the same device/browser at all times. Otherwise, I'm with you on the suggestion.

I still don't have an answer for you, sorry.

Done.

In general, if an artist doesn't want their art here, it won't be posted here. Otherwise I don't deal with the Images section, so I can't really speak to any specifics. Certainly it's possible that drpepperfan just doesn't like their art, subject, etc. even if they wouldn't mind.
^I see.
Can this post get a "Mako x Yuka" tag and a "Yuu x Yuka" one?
https://dynasty-scans.com/images/18553
Is it possible for us to hide/blur cover images/thumbnails for nsfw content? The "Most Popular" section seems to bypass one's blacklist.
Also, I'm not sure what to call it, but it would be nice if we had a separate tag for age gaps between adults (someone in their 20's and someone in their 30's for example) and between adults and teens. I don't mind the former, but I want to blacklist the latter.

I'm afraid not. As far as thumbnails are concerned, I'll think about standardizing non-NSFW thumbnails for manga releases. I know it's a concern for many. However, it's not something that can be implemented for images anytime soon. To avoid all thumbnails, you may use the Recently Added page instead.

My "common sense" says that the subjects of the relationship ought to be obvious based upon other tags (like School girl
or School life
). Though, I now realise this isn't helpful at all for the blacklist feature, which is very important for many in their daily use. I'll think about it, thanks for the suggestion.

From the other thread:
To allow users to use the Markdown Tutorial in an intuitive manner, this thread is being unlocked. Feel free to post here for that purpose. This thread will be routinely cleaned in the future. Please take questions to the Help thread, thank you.
This isn't a question as such, but I had some comments that I never got around to posting for some reason, until that post (un?)fortunately reminded me.
It says
You can just quote this post to see how it's made.
and again, at the bottom,
Repeating what I've already said, just click on quote to see how this post was made.
But actually, that's not possible while the thread is locked (as you may have noticed?). This isn't a complete disaster, since the original formatting tutorial can still be quoted, but it's a bit messy to have to go to another thread to get the same information, and it may not occur to people (especially newer users) that they can do that. If you don't want to unlock the thread permanently, then perhaps you could consider adding examples of what the markup actually looks like, as per anonymous's Cheat Sheet?
Anyway, while you're pondering that, there are a few things that could be clarified or added. First of all, it took me ages to figure out how to get this part to work:
Quotes may also be divided
By adding - between them
It kept coming out looking like this:
Quotes may also be divided
By adding - between them
...until I eventually figured out that there has to be a blank line before the minus sign. Note that this specific example is not in the original formatting tutorial, as it currently stands, so there is no quotable version if the new thread is locked.
A few omissions:
Strikethrough and bold italic are not mentioned.
There are alternative ways of doing Heading 1 and 2 by following them with = and - respectively, though it's probably not necessary to know that, considering that no one ever uses them in the first place...
Also, headings go up to level 6, not that 5 and 6 are much use for anything.
###And as I was previewing this I realised that it doesn't say that the # signs introducing header text need to be followed by a space, otherwise it comes out like this. I know there's a note saying that spaces are important, but it doesn't say much about where they should (or shouldn't) be included.
And finally, I discovered that you can add alt text for hyperlinks and images:
...an incredibly useful feature that it would be positively criminal to omit.

Thank you for the response! I also just realized I can manually hide the previews on the side bar with uBlock Origin, since you can create custom content blockers with it. Figured I'd share that here in case anyone else wants to use that.
I am guessing this has been brought up before, but it just came to my mind so I'm asking. Any plans for a dark theme?
As threatened, here's part 1 of my artist cleanup suggestions.
I've decided to post this stuff in instalments, partly because there ended up being quite a lot of it, but also because you guys may not necessarily agree with my suggestions as to what names to use. Some feedback would be welcome once you've read it over.
This is a list of artists who are listed under something other than what seems to be their actual pen names. I've struck through a few names that appear to be completely bogus (following my 100% thorough and reliable investigation...); the rest can probably be kept as an "also known as." Some already have the right name as an "also known as," which obviously becomes redundant once they're changed. There's also supplementary information such as Pixiv links.
I haven't attempted to romanise any Chinese names, by the way. Nor did I check every single artist, because that wasn't what I was originally trying to do...
0141zucker is Kuruto
12wesxd is Miharu
Twitter is ras0530, circle is Soumen Kingdom, so I have no idea where "12wesxd" comes from.
14yaki is Harasu
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/34666626
1stfooom is Kura
1W2K is Aratagawa Nikei (currently the "also known as")
http://www.diced.jp/~silent/
310sa_n is Mito
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/659974 (There's no yuri there, though.)
https://mitosan3.fanbox.cc (...but there is some here.)
32asako is just Asako
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/191888
3692materia is Asama Kiyomasa
https://twitter.com/asamakiyomasa
5tb is Terano Terako
Also known as 5120Gigabyte (the circle name) and Yurigo Rira
https://twitter.com/5120Gigabyte
Obviously 5TB = 5120GB, but I don't see that name used anywhere.
8808808 should be 88O88O8
Also known as ᴋᴍ, which might be better as the pen name, but maybe it's better to stick with regular alphanumeric characters?
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/1266345
8nznz is Haruhare
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/17434275
_jo_er_ is just Joer (じょあ)

平安二郎 is Heian Jirou
https://twitter.com/pnzrrrr (main account)
https://twitter.com/heian3jiro (commercial work)
火の鳥~甲子園編~ is Radio Crusher Tokunaga
火の鳥~甲子園編~ is "Hinotori ~Koushien-hen~" ("Phoenix ~Koushien Volume~"). This name is not currently used, but I'll assume someone didn't just make it up...
炉LEE is LOLEE (Romanised as per Twitter account name, also it makes the pun more obvious)
http://monsterheart.blog100.fc2.com/
https://twitter.com/LOLEExxx
矢野まもる is Yano Mamoru
https://twitter.com/yaganome
精密度100%
Since this artist is also known as saramanda_kun, that might be a better name?
Or if anyone feels brave enough to decide on a romanisation, here's the Wiktionary entry.

綿屡 is Wataru
https://twitter.com/yuridaisukidaaa

https://twitter.com/mashiro_elegy
alknasn is Suda Hitoshi
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/3734404
almi is Koketsu
"almi" is definitely bogus: someone mistook the title of their doujin for the artist's name.
Aly is Kisaragi
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/600944
"Aly" should be "aly_sos", but it's only used as their Pawoo address, so I'd say it's dubious to use it as a name.
Anarogumaaa is Mizuki Ichigo
https://twitter.com/kyunkyunhawawa
Again, "anarogumaa" is only their Pawoo address.
araki495 is Liku
https://twitter.com/liku_0495
AsH(灰) should be just AsH
(since the 灰 means "ash" anyway)
atn_jijifyg is Eiji
Atobesakunolove is Kaoruru
Aul is Hakuyou
aya223 is Pallas Cat
Banana_oekaki should be just Banana
("oekaki" is "drawing")
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/52268240
bbr brbr is Bibiri
BDR08080 is Sanho
https://twitter.com/342g__love
They renamed their Twitter from BDR08080. Didn't know you could do that. But it shows that Twitter account names aren't a stable reference, for what it's worth.
Bloom2425 is Shion (or glasses_shion)
https://twitter.com/glasses_shion
break761 is lowfat
https://twitter.com/low_fat12
buson0120 should be just Buson

dtvisu is Torinari
Enk_0822 is Eno-han
Eto is Suo
Evuoaniramu is MizuumiBB (or mzumBB)
Fakepucco is now usui
Description should be updated: "...and has no yuri on their Pixiv".
Faubynet is Kanata Noname, aka Fabiko
Fujimo Ruru is Fujimori Chocolat
Fujitaka Nasu is Fujinasu Taka
Perhaps they changed it around to avoid confusion with the other Fuji Taka Nasu.
Fuji_1221_ is just Fuji
Fulunukko is Nekono Hina (aka Nekono Pina)
Futanatu is Sinogiasa
Fuuga is Yuhane
Fw_moko is Izumi
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/858264
f_tnbkr is Tenbukuro
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/31034051
g-20800 is Oono
Gana is Kurosaki
Gensokigou is siho
Ginko is now sakaki (note all lower case, which is also useful to distinguish them from the other Sakaki)
Giselebon is just Gisele
("Giselebon" is only used as the URL of their website)
Gobou 1000 is just Gobou
Gorilla is GoriL.L.La
Green is Nadechika
https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/14478576
Gunner is Akari Kumato aka AkariKstar
gunzyou1 is Gram
That was a lot of effort considering that some of these guys only have one or two images posted, but I found some interesting things along the way, so it's all good.
As you can see, I've got as far as G, which is about one column's worth, so it seemed a good place to take a break. Lots of H coming up. Heh heh.
I'd like to suggest a "Ojou-sama" tag
someone pressed the send button too many times
^ Or they really wanted that "Ojou-sama" tag

^same
Oh yeah, some time ago I asked this artist to be renamed (partly because he doesn't even seem to use the name we use anymore) and my suggestion got added as an alternative name instead lol

Text lifted from a ten-year-old Reddit post, which will get subbed out for spam links later if left unattended; there's another forum I'm on that gets a lot of these, so it may be a pattern that repeats itself soon.
I noticed quite a few artists on the site are called by a name here that they don't use anymore
At least by now, this artist seems to only call themselves "Gyarin"
https://dynasty-scans.com/authors/ikarin
Also this one should have "Iku" as their main name instead of an alt one
https://dynasty-scans.com/authors/shiroinuchikusyo
For similar reasons, is there any reason why this artist's main name on the site isn't Tokumi Yuiko?

^All adjusted, thanks.

Only a tiny bit of a mammoth post. All adjusted. There were a few minor concerns, which have been noted and will be reviewed by someone else in the near future. I'll follow up at that point. In nearly every case, the reading or error(s) seemed pretty clean and unanimous from my perspective.
All aliases - even inaccurate ones - have been kept, though some have been hidden from public view to avoid confusion. Some past redundant entries (such as Gobou1000) have been hidden, but remain searchable. All of the links have been added. Hyperlinks in descriptions have been broken for a while\, but hopefully they'll eventually work properly again...eventually. Thanks a ton. There's only one other user I know who would go wild like this, and I'm very grateful for the effort.
Just one question for now.
矢野まもる is Yano Mamoru
https://twitter.com/yaganome
The site has the listing as 矢野まもる, but Pixiv only has 矢野. I could not (briefly) find any instance of 矢野まもる. Did you?
I'd like to suggest a "Ojou-sama" tag
Noted, we'll consider it. Thank you.

Thank you, noted.
Can this get a "Manuba x Senri x Spica" tag? Or "Manuba x Senri" + "Spica x Senri".
https://dynasty-scans.com/images/17563
Is it worth adding to the FAQ why Dynasty avoids the "shoujo ai" term/tag? It would be handy to have a single point of reference, especially for newcomers. I've noticed that official publications are pretty good about avoiding it, but a lot of widely used sources still use it to mean GL, creating confusion.
That's a good point! I'll add that.
Hi. I would like to ask where I can find the option (if there's any) to load all the pages of the chapters when reading. Sometimes the internet here in my country really sucks so it's a pain to load the pages one by one, and it's easier to read when all the pages have been loaded.
