Little too late for the remix competition but I was feeling inspired! (I’ll spoiler tag this next part in case you want to sleuth the references yourself) I referenced Kiara’s Fire Emblem series, Calli pointing out that her pupils have “Skrellingtons” in them, and the infamous chess stream, as well as Calli’s “I hate it”
tic, in addition to all their background stuff I could fit in. I also tried to preserve not just the stress pattern and the rhyme scheme, but the actual rhyming syllables as well—er, as much as possible. (I even tried to make as much of it rhyme with the original as possible outside end rhymes, too!) Anyways thanks for reading lmao.
