This is so interes- oh its abandoned. -sigh-
Is there any series which the author didn't abandon? There's just something so different about the author's style.

The author didn't abandon these series, Tranquil Spring did. There's more chapters of all of this author's uncompleted series out in Japan.

What the hell happened to Tranquil anyway? I'm starting to hate them for leaving so much unfinished stuff...

I know Dynasty never liked them for some reason. And it seems after Octave and Kissing Mars they started to fade...

which is a shame thinking about the unfinished stuff... like this I LIKED THIS! ;________;

Kiyo and Yuu's eyes are so beautiful :D

*S: BLACKOUT IS FUN!!

So I gave into temptation and read some more Bash! on some Chinese manga/scanlation site! Citrus comments led me there and then I couldn't resist~ In the end, though, 100% JPN fluency is still my goal for the sake of enjoying manga in both its raw and English-translated forms :D

As expected, Kiyo and Yuu make me swoon<3 RAKU-GUN's art also becomes cuter in later chapters, which is a bonus.
Sakyo is such a cute puppy too<3

Although the material is basic enough for me to understand with only 50% Chinese fluency, the experience is simply not the same as when reading in English... not to mention the discrepancy in quality. Dynasty has my wholehearted appreciation for hosting so many high-quality free translations wrought by such talented scanlation groups. Many thanks to you and all the scanlators for all the hard work.

Sigh, I just had to vomit all my gushy feels here, sorry.

Dang. Reading this is so frustrating. I so wanna read the next chapters. Too bad it's still abandoned along with these works by Tranquil Spring. Fist I've read the Tie Breaker and A Lollipop or A Bullet, and now this! :'( too bad I'm just someone who waits for releases and does nothing, more like can't do anything.

On another note, I really like Hime's hair. And those eyes. Just having those will make me happy instead. Kiyo being the VP with that kind of mysterious, playful personality makes me wanna know her more. So again, I wish there's MOARRR!

I don't know that this is terrible accurate. As far as I know, Bash! was only ever published as doujinshi, rather than in collected volumes, and there are considerably more than 2 of those.

Is there anyone here that's already looked into this and could confirm whether it was ever actually completed, and how many chapters is runs? From what I understand, the series consists of:

BASH! - 2009-02-15
BASH! ~ある日の生徒会~ ヒゲとメガネと坊主と携帯 - 2009-04-26
BASH!#02 - 2009-08-16
BASH!chain - 2009-11-08
BASH! Noisemaker - 2010-05-04
BASH!after-N - 2010-08-15
BASH! In crimson - 2010-11-14
BASH!スモーキン・ハニー - 2010-12-31

Also—does this really need the bullying tag? Aside from mentions in flashbacks, there isn't any actual bullying.

I am sorely disappointed that this is not in fact about bourne again and GNU.

Yeah, 2 is definitely off.

Your list looks right based on toranoana/her blog posts from that period. I'm not sure if it's completed, though.

Nope, removed.

I don't know if you are still looking for this information as the post was made years ago, but just in case:

"BASH! ~ある日の生徒会~ ヒゲとメガネと坊主と携帯" is actually collected in BASH!#02, so I wouldn't count it as a separate issue. There is an issue between the first and second, but it is "BASH! #1.5" (2009-05-05).

There are also two additional issues, from 2012:
BASH![wrong] - 2012-05-05
BASH!Black&Silver - 2012-12-31

So nine unique issues that I know of -- some of them are composed of multiple chapters, but I'm assuming you're more concerned with the book count than chapter count.

Black&Silver contained no indication that it would be the last issue, so I wouldn't say the series is completed so much as on hiatus. I don't follow social media very closely though, so if anything was said about it there it's quite possible I did not see it.

The author didn't abandon anything, Tranquil spring on the other hand....

So the status 'Abandoned' is when the author is still writing but the scanlators have stopped working on it, and 'Dropped' is when the author cancels it? Or how does it go?

As I understand it, Dropped is when the scanlators announce that they are discontinuing the series and Abandoned is when they just stop working on it without notice. Dropped makes it easier for other scanlation teams to take up the project.
